Savory BBQ at an airport? Yes!!

If you're doing a Paleo diet, or just have a hankerin' for 'cued meat, it's difficult to think of doing it at the airport. Sure, there's really good branches of the legendary Salt Lick in various Texas airports, but I've experienced some pretty flaccid cue at airports around the country when I'm... read more

There's so many reviews on here about how good the food is. And it is. So I won't repeat it. But I will say the sign that state you're only 21 minute wait, it's actually more like 45 minutes. Once inside its all a bit hectic as so busy. Just a shame we weren't both hungrier as we didn't really... More

Stopped by for lunch - I guess we're lucky as there is usually a wait... We didn't have any issues - went in and sat at the bar. Ordered the ribs and BBQ Pork sandwich. Good BBQ - friendly attentive staff and met some local friendly patrons. If you're looking for BBQ - this is the place!

This place knocked my socks off. The service, the food, everything was perfect. If its busy I hear its worth the wait, luckily I didn't have to wait, but I would have. Great portions and all over good BBQ! A must for visitors.

Phils has another location in Santee which I actually went to first. I like the location in Santee better. Phils is busy, but the service/ordering is quite efficient. Best bet - go to the bar. It is quicker than the ordering at the front. The food - pork, beef and chicken are all good. Now for the sauce..I found it... More

The barbecue is generally great but this time the ribs were half fat. Bad, Phil. Please do better next time. The service was outstanding, though.

While on a business trip in SD I asked the valet person at my hotel where to go for a fun deliecious casual dinner and he promptly said "you gotta go to Phils". So we went on Saturday night by when we got there the line was out the door and down the side the restaurant, so we passed. But... More
