Great food, great service and great prices!

Love, love, love this place! The food was so fresh and inspired! Go check out their menu. As far as breakfast/lunch (brunch) style restaurants, this place is one of the best I've ever visited. The prices on the breakfast menu range from $6 to $12 per plate. Most egg dishes are accompanied with their tasty rosemary tomatoes with just enough spice to make each bite interesting. Their chicken apple sausage and banana pancakes are wonderful. Although it is a busy place for breakfast, we were seated quickly, accommodated with a high chair, and served... More

Ooooh lala - The Mission is amazing!!! The coffee is excellent. The Latino breakfast plates - ohhhhhhhhh man! The BACON! We didn't order pancakes but the people next ot us did, and I must warn you, a plate of pancakes is about as big as a birthday cake!! They looked delicious but for sure enough for 2 or 3 people.... Great food! Great service! The only reason it's not 5-stars because it's pretty pricey. For 6 of us at breakfast it was $84.40.

We ate here on some advice from my cousin who lives in San Diego. So glad we did, the morning before we tried Olive Cafe a few blocks down which was just okay so we wanted to see if this was in fact a better option. As other TA reviews state, you have to wait, we ate here on a... More

Long lines almost all the time, but usually reasonable wait time. Staff is attentive and courteous. Food is excellent - extensive choices, good seasoning and presentation, great taste. Big benefit - reasonable prices!

During our 4 day stay in San Diego, we visited this restaurant twice. The first day, we were greeted by a wonderful waitress who took great care of us and the breakfast was amazing! The next day we ventured back and a different waitress was indifferent to us and questioned my wife's drink order. We'd go back but would make... More

Had breakfast today with my husband. Both of us ordered the chorizo sausage dish that came with breakfast potatoes, beans, tortilla, scrambled eggs, avocado and more. It was very good. The breakfast potatoes stood out as excellent, very crispy. The portions were large. The value was good. Great service. Good coffee.

Good food at a good price. The Mission Café menu has both American and Mexican-style breakfast offerings...we went with pancakes/eggs/French toast this time around. The cinnamon-bread French toast had a great flavor, and the fruit puree that it was served with was much better than I thought it would be -- very tasty. My son's pancakes were HUGE -- and... More

This is not a place for light California food. Many of the dishes come with appealingly-spiced, heavy potatoes. Many of the dishes seem unnecessarily caloric and greasy. The atmosphere is ok. It is definitely not a dressy place. We had a heavy young man sit across from us. His t-shirt was above his navel, and his big stomach, with a... More
