Worth The Visit

Whenever I'm in San Diego I try to get here, but don't always make it. I made it today and it was amazing. Fast service, the food was hot, delicious and so elegantly presented. Highly recommended!

Quick service and great food. If you get there later in the morning for breakfast you will probably have to wait for a table

We visit San Diego for one month every year and always make it a point to eat here and we have never been disappointed. Well, maybe, the time we read the signs wrong and got a ticket for parking on the wrong side of the street. But, that had nothing to do with the restaurant. The rosemary potatoes are marvelous... This year the place was busier than in previous years, but if you go for lunch either early or late, it won't be so crowded. When it is full it can be a bit loud, as the place is echoey. The Papas Loco needed a bit more rosemary, like in the old days, and the potatoes tasted very very faintly... More

I wish I had more time in San Diego to eat again at the Mission! It was fabulous! We had the rosemary potatoes and they didn't disappoint. The service was quick and the staff friendly. Portions are plentiful, I shared with my daughter and we still had plenty.

Excellent food! Wait was more intimidating than it really was. I tried the chicken Apple sausage and highly recommend it

Took us two days to time our arrival right to get into this place without waiting for a long time. There are other great breakfast spots nearby if you don't like to wait on line to eat, but if you do go here, the french toast and mexican/american breakfast fare will please you immensely.

The staff was really nice and fast! I had the blueberry pancakes and the hammerhead coffe which has to be the best coffe I've tasted in the US! We were a group of 8. I don't believe any of us managed to eat all of the food we ordered. There's no point in serving this much food!

We loved it here and I would say it was easily the best breakfast we had during our stay in San Diego. The portions were extremely generous, coffee was top notch. My husband is gluten free so he loved that he was able to get some really good gf french toast. Our waitress was really friendly and service was quick.... More
