We went to get breakfast on a Sunday morning. Though you will typically wait about 15-20 minutes for a table on the busy weekend breakfast rush, it is well worth the wait. The waitress was very attentive, despite the many tables and loud crowd. Pancakes were amazing! I got the strawberry banana panackes and they were huge! No wonder eggs... More

The restaurant is unassuming and you might pass it by so keep a sharp eye out. My family of five agreed that this place was our favorite, hands down. Breakfast was in a good portion, made with fresh ingrediants and VERY tasty. Rarely do my kids rave over food but at this restaraunt, they insisted everyone sample their dishes. Not... More

We visit the San Diego area every year, and honestly we make a point of driving all the way from Encinitas to Mission Beach primarily in order to eat lunch at this restaurant. It is that good! We always order the Papas Loco (crazy potatoes), which is supposedly a breakfast meal, but we eat it as a hearty lunch. It... More

Perhaps... The service was quick and attentive, the food very good with large portions, and the price was not too exorbitant. I would definitely eat either breakfast or lunch here anytime.

We went to this cafe as it was near our hotel (the Catamaran) and I'd read so many positive reviews on here. It didn't disappoint! Purely based on reviews I ordered the cinnamon French toast - WOW! Never eaten anything like it, it was fantastic! Even my husband, who isn't a huge cinnamon fan, ate 1 of my 3 pieces... More

The Mission is great! Anything you order will be delicious. Their French toast is fluffy, their eggs are tasty, the potatoes fresh and their warm drinks are excellent. I wished we had more time in our most recent trip to San Diego to visit more than once, I have so many favorites on their menu! You may have to wait... More

From the warm greeting to tell us we would have a short wait before being seated, to the attentive waiter, to the great food, this place hit the spot.

Ate here after reading all the great TA reviews. Yum, yum, yum! As the reviews indicated, the line did move fast and we were seated w/in 20 min. The food is super fresh, ample and excellent. The lady next to me had the fruit with granola and it looked sooo good and the guy had the cinnamon french toast which... More

We had to pay $5 in a lot across the street - totally worth it. They were very busy, but we were seated quickly. Our very friendly waiter got our drinks to us right away, and our food was out in less than ten minutes. The guys had pancakes and I had eggs and rosemary potatoes. All great. If I... More
