It has very good food. We dine on a variety of appetizers. Their shrimp cocktail has unending shrimp. We had fundido there for the first time and has now become a regular dinner at home.

My fiancé and I had dinner at Miguel's one evening while on our trip to San Diego. We were seated promptly and our waiter was friendly, but the food was really lacking. I had a burrito and a taco combination plate. The taco shell was visibly laden with grease. I decided to try it even though it looked disgusting and... More

We enjoyed our freshly prepared salads and tasty sandwiches after spending a lot of time touring Balboa Park

The last two times we have gone to Miguel's, we were seated in the middle dining area. Well, evidently, this is where they seat all the families. This last time, there were to large parties, each party had many infant and young children. They were screaming, crying, throwing tantrums and the parent's did nothing. As we got our water, one... We've been to this little joint a few times over our many visits to San Diego. I wouldn't say it's the best or most authentic Mexican I've ever had, but I think it's pretty solid. Good portions, well made dishes, and prompt service. They serve their tortilla chips with a white queso dipping sauce that's addictive. The patio upstairs is... More

They do not provide a gluten free menu. Beware their white cheese sauce they serve with their chips has gluten. There prices were higher than some Mexican places we have eaten at. Raspberry mojito was worth having two!!!

This is part of the Cohn Restaurant Group so you know quality is assured. Good ole Tex Mex food at reasonable prices. Dining indoors or out. A nice fireplace to sit by in the winter. All the dishes are good but everyone's fave is the jalapeno cheese dip served free with your basket of chips and salsa. A full bar... More

This has become a favorite stand by when we are in the San Diego area and want our Mexican fix. Food is good (like the swordfish tacos), service is great and price is right. Careful not to fill up on the queso dip
