Good Mexican...

Stopped here for lunch. Food is very good, service was good, and atmosphere was nice. I oredered the Burrito and retried beans. We will return.

The food was all great, but the Millionaire Margarita was amazing! Worth the extra couple bucks, at least for me.

Now that I live in Canada, I don't get as much great Mexican food as I would like. We are visiting the San Diego area and went to Miguel's Cocina. This location has some outdoor seating. Obviously, the weather can be a bit cool on a February evening. But they have gas heaters outside to help keep guests warm. There... More

We had dinner here on a weeknight and the only place they were seating people was off the bar, so it was a little noisy, but we could still have a conversation! The ceviche was good, and the entrees are traditional Mexican American. The food is served very very mild, but is flavorful and good, so no complaints!

We came in after a long day, topped by whale watching. We were really hungry and thirsty. And Miguel's really satisfied us. The food and service was outstanding. The only drawback was that we thought the pitcher of margarita's ($28) was a little light on tequila. The two of us had at least three glasses each and had NO buzz... More

This was a large group, 20 plus. The meal was buffet style with three different types of meat and all the toppings, it was very good and the service was prompt.

The food was reasonable in price and the taste was very good. The best thing was the white sauce you get to dip your tortilla chips in.

Miguel's Cocina in Pt. Loma has authentic Mexican food, many dishes to choose from. A couple of years ago they remodeled the upstairs and added downstairs eating. They put bar stools everywhere upstairs (except the patio) and made it a sports bar atmosphere. I liked the tables better. I think the quality of the food went down after the remodel,... More

Nice place. Clean. As other reviewers have said, the white jalapeno sauce is wonderful. Great atmosphere. Service was awesome.

We walked over here one evening for dinner while staying at the Island Palms hotel on Shelter Island. We had grilled swordfish tacos which were fine but nothing special. Good portions and reasonable prices.
