Had a very special birthday dinner and was treated like a Queen! The decor is very soothing and classy; well made cocktails, delicious appetizer, entrees and dessert! The rack of lamb was one of the best I have ever had. Wonderful wait staff!

This was one of the top dining experiences I've ever had. The view is unbeatable and gorgeous. My wife, daughter, and I ate here for dinner and we all thought our meals were one of the best we've ever had, appetizer, entree, and dessert. The entrees among us were steak, fish, and lobster. The service was excellent as well. I... More

What a very special place for dinner. Such fine dining and the most beautiful location. We were there for high tide, and a fabulous sunset. Awesome food, fantastic service.

The location was great with windows right at the high tide surf line and wave breaking on the windows. Food and drinks were very good but the service was extremely slow. One of our group opted for the pairing menu and it was pretty sad vs. past experiences at other restaurants and vineyards.

This is a special place for a special occasion .. It's on the beach , in La Jolla. Old and unique with the waves breaking against the windows.. There are specially made from a very thick and strong glass to withstand that force. There were 2 times in the past , when the windows were broken .., don't worry -not... More

The Marine Room is situated in a residential neighborhood and sits on the edge of the Pacific Ocean beach. We ordered the salmon which was fantastic! The service was attentive and the views were outstanding. We watched the sun slip below the horizon as we finished our dessert. If you're looking for a romantic place for dinner, the Marine Room... We were at the Marine Room for a special anniversary. The food was excellent and very much enjoyed. The location is spectacular especially if you get a window table. Our waiter however went through all the motions of good service but at speed and with an obvious lack of interest in our experience - I guess the service approach lacked... More

My girlfriend and I went here to enjoy a scenic, romantic dinner with waves clashing up against the glass during their notorious "high tide dinner" season. I reserved ahead of time to make sure there would be a good table reserved for us. Let me just say now, the experience I had was not what I was expecting. It started... More
