Special Occasion Spot, paying for view!

First time here for the evening. Drinks at the bar 14$ while waiting, not the best on price, old decor, but again the view as we had reservations at 6. We sat down and the service was top notch for sure! Great view of the hi tide. Good was good, not great, lobster bisque, salad, lobster tail was... read more

We had an amazing early dinner with exceptional service. We ordered off the special menu as well as some "regular" dishes. I don't want to call anything at this place "regular", it was all amazing. The Ahi was some of the best of I have had... The wait staff was so helpful it added to our experience. The room set... More

We enjoyed great selections and loved trying each other's dishes. The view of the sunset is amazing, and then the drama of the seagulls and seals is fantastic! The tide brings the show right up to the windows edge. Great night.

Had a 6:30 reservation so we could watch the sun go down behind the waves at La Jolla Shores. Light rain had blown through, leaving clouds on the horizon. Added visual treat: bride and wedding party getting photos on the beach, including wading into the water. We started with a Caesar salad, tossed fresh at table side and always a... More

This beautiful sea side restaurant is always a treat--view is the best in town and food is consistent and wonderful! Also a great place for cocktails and appetizers.

The view was incredible and some places might have traded on that with poor food etc. but our meal was outstanding. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

What a wonderful meal beside the Pacific. Excellent flexibility of staff when seating needed to be revised. Evening special filled our desires by offering surf & turf for $78. We ordered and split. (We are not big eaters)

GREAT food in a wonderful setting. We hit high tide so it was fairly spectacular to have fine dining and see the waves hit the picture windows.

A beautiful setting and always a care service, when I Visit SD I never miss The Marine Room, not only because it's wonderful location but also an outstanding cuisine. I had one of The best filet mignon ever. We were moved from one beautiful table with The view, the Restaurant argue That that was not a good table because It... More

Two couples: the Ceasar salad shared by 3 of us was sooooo good; fourth guest loved his lobster bisque. We all had seafood for our entrees: monk fish, pompano, Alaskan halibut and sea scallops. Each of us was thrilled with the gentle, perfect cooking of the fish and the innovative combinations.
