Found Laurel via the PR agency that does San Diego's Restaurant Week, looked @their website & made reservations, & this was absolutely THE best meal we had in SD. In a town with few truly gourmet choices, Laurel is top notch. Some dishes miss sometimes, but the overall experience is excellent. more

everything was good except my main dish (raviolis w/ pea shoots & truffles). could barely eat half of that dish, which put a damper on the whole meal. However, delish butterscotch dessert! more

You have to try this place. Sit at the bar for happy hour and have $7.00 drink and bar food specials until 7:00 pm. Look at the dinner menu and then make plans to return more
