I've been eating at Indigo Grill for years and it never fails to impress. Reservations are recommended but if you do have to wait for a table take a stroll up India Street and see the rest of Little Italy. And be sure not to miss the Alderwood Plant Salmon with squid ink pasta; it's amazing.

We originally went to C Level to celebrate my birthday knowing that they don't take reservations. We thought if we arrived by 6pm that we would be fine but that wasn't the case. There was already a 90 min wait. What to do now on a Sat night? Called Indigo Grill while scrambling to find a new venue & although... More

Our last night in San Diego and we made a terrific choice coming here. The ambiance is great - a perfect mixture of antique items with a modern twist. The service was excellent - our waiter was personable and efficient. We were able to eat outside which is a nice option - you're outside but still somewhat enclosed. We both... More

We both agreed that the food (all three dishes) was really bland. I should have realized it by the clientele, which was mostly old white folks. The drinks were delicious, so I do recommend stopping by for a cocktail.

Chef Deborah is just amazing. I've eaten here maybe 5-6 times when I'm visiting San Diego. Her dishes are innovative, delicious, beautifully presented and way more food than the average person can eat. My husband and I have started sharing one entree as we are traveling and don't want to take left overs to the hotel. It is way more... More

INDIGO Grill has a good selection on their Menu. They serve authentic, tasty food with service with a smile. It will be good if they add some more items on their menu to cater for vegans and vegetarians. It is a very pleasant place to spend an evening with friends and family.

When in San Diego, do go to the Indigo Grill in Little Italy. Run by executive chef Deborah Scott, it is an amazing experience of flavours and tastes. Be sure to share the dishes :-) Start with Bibimbap; a super heated stone bowl full of lap cheong, kimchi, ginger, garlic, egg, scallion, peas, jalapenos and chili paste on "crispy" rice... More

Brought our little girls. They enjoyed beautiful fresh fruit plates. Nice seating on the patio, heater for our comfort. Food and atmosphere was wonderful. Salmon cooked perfectly. Crusted Brie was delicious with jalapeños jelly and roasted garlic. Hubby loved the pork belly skewers. Awesome first meal out in San Diego.

What a disappointment. The pork belly kebab was all fat and the chicken satay was dry and tasteless- served with piles of very ordinary pickled vegetables. The hummus was lovely, though- but that's not hard to do. We enjoyed the house queso and chorizo wrapped in a corn tortilla but they didn't have to skimp on the chorizo. There are... More
