How can you screw up fish and chips ? It's just about the simplest seafood meal there is. But congratulations, you managed to make a tasteless, inedible, bland mess of it. And what was wrong with the servers the evening we visited ? Surly, unhappy, unsmiling, terse, distracted.. you name it, they exhibited it. They all seemed in an extremely... More

Just ate there 20 minutes ago. Good service and very reasonable wait for high quality, no frills made to order food. I had the fish taco platter with chips, salsa and a side of beans. I chose grilled grouper for my fish. My son had the fried grouper fish and chips and my wife had the Mexican white shrimp taco.... More

Perfect little spot for families. Reasonable prices with multiple choices of fresh seafood!! Other choices on menu also for non-seafood lovers. We loved this place!!

We were looking for a low-key seafood spot that was casual, but had great, fresh seafood. We were really impressed with this VERY casual and funky spot right on the marina in Point Loma. The grilled shrimp (skewered with cilantro lime marinade) and the crab cakes were both very, very good. You order first and they bring the food out,... More

Grilled fish tacos were great and on special on tuesdays. Clam chowder was good. Fries were just ok. Shrimp was a bit overdone. Crab cakes ok.

We stayed across the street at the Dolphin and this little fish joint was recommended to us. It was packed when we arrived, but people move quickly through the ordering line. We ordered the Fish Taco which was on special for $2.00 each. They were OK, but the salsa was bland needing a bit more cilantro and lemon. The taco... More

Nothing fancy about this place, but the food was great. Especially loved the fish and chips and the chowder. We ate here twice over the weekend.

Went to Mitch's last night for dinner. We both had Mexican grilled white shrimp. Really nice . Today after a whale watching trip near by dropped in for a chowder at lunchtime, again good. We both enjoyed dinner the night before so much we decided on going back again tonight. I went for the halibut and my husband went for... More

A little joint hidden in the back of a marina. I had the clam chowder and fish tacos, which seemed to be what everyone got. They give you options for fish either beer battered or grilled. I got the grilled seabass and swordfish, both spectacular! Service was great and we sat out overlooking the marina. Watch out that the seagulls... More
