I had two tacos - one shrimp and one breaded fish (cod). Both were delicious. My husband had a salad with a huge portion of yellow fin tuna on top. Also very good. The best thing, though, was the shrimp ceviche. Really delicious. This place is VERY casual. Don't go if you want a nice sit-down meal.

This was the first establishment we visited, because it was recommended by our motel's staff and because it was close by. Great food and service in an informal, next to the harbor setting.

The fish tacos were so tasty. Great selections. HUGE BEERS! GREAT views. Kid friendly. Hard to find but well worth it.

We ate at Mitch's tonight on a recommendation and had an outstanding experience! The food was amazing! They only serve fish that was caught today so choices change daily. My husband and I each ordered a different fish and both were excellent. It is a relaxed setting with indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Will go back every time we... More

We have tried many other seafood restaurants, and Mitch's is by far our favorite. Depending on whatever catch just came in, the daily selections of fish and seafood are incorporated into grilled or fried platters, salads, sandwiches, tacos, fisherman's stew, made to order. Accompanying onion rings, fries, tartar and seafood sauces are very tasty. There are also some limited non-seafood... More

Was there for lunch. My wife had the seafood soup and she said it was great. I had the fish and chips with an order of onion rings. It was one of the best if not the best. Looking out in the harbor at the different boats was nice. They get their seafood from local fishermen.

A great find that's easy to miss on the ocean side of a parking lot. Frequented by people going out on fishing boats and the rest of us who come across it. Casual place with great service and excellent fish. Soup, fish plates, fish tacos, sandwiches, salads. Reasonable prices. Seating indoors or outside looking our on the bay. Yum!

Five of us went for a local seafood dinner. It was ok. The appetizers (nachos) were tasty but arrived after the entrees! Don't they know the appetizers should be served first? Also, one of our entrees never arrived, so we shared from our plates until it was prepared. Food quality was fine, just make sure the counter staff understand your... More

Of the few spots that I hit on my trip to San Diego this was my favorite. The seafood was fantastic. I had the Mixed seafood and Lobster Tacos. The lobster taco was so good.

It's too bad I drove from all the way from Vegas JUST to have fish here. When I stood at the counter and placed my order one of the cooks from the kitchen saw my bracelet, looked me in the eye turned to his friends in the kitchen nodded his head my way and said, "cochino" He assumed that I...
