You need to go to this place just for the fish tacos, there amazing! Plus it's lovely just to sit outside and watch the boats in the harbour and even spot the odd sea lion!

I got the seafood platter because that's what everyone else had recommended! I loved it...my friend thought it was so-so. The crabcake was by far the best thing on the platter...if you want to try one thing only, try the crabcake!!!

Fresh, fresh seafood at this walk up and order from chalkboard menu restaurant. Grab a stool at the rail overlooking the marina (or a table inside, but why?) while you wait for your order to be brought to you. Great beer choices too. Off the beaten path but a real find!

We eat there before our fishing trips. Great food. Try the yellowtail sub or the seafood soup. The staff is friendly and professional.

The seafood is awesome. You are right by the water and you can watch herons, egrets, seagulls and even seals. We even saw a little octopus swimming around the dock. Fishing tour boats come and go and you can watch them while you eat outside on the counter with bar stools. You can also sit inside. Friendly service and the... More

A little hard to find, but this hidden treasure is well worth the hunt. Grab a microbrew and chowder...try the stew, it is definitely a must with an abundance of various seafood that tantalize your taste buds...

The seafood at this restaurant come from the docks outside. Tourists on fishing trips and commercial fishing boats converge in this bustling Shelter Island harbor in the San Diego Bay. Your view is looking south from Point Loma to Shelter Island, with America's Cup harbor in between. Graceful sailboats and yachts, charter fishing boats that sleep thirty, jet skis, and... More

This was my first visit to Mitch's Seafood, and being a New Englander who knows good seafood, I was impressed! It is a very casual atmosphere, tees, shorts, and flip flops and the like. You stand in line in front of a huge blackboard with all of their offerings a few minutes and place your order at the counter, and... More

Wait in line for 10 to 15 minutes, order two fresh fish tacos and a beverage at the counter, wait at a table on the harbor-side deck overlooking the huge marina for 10 or 15 minutes, then chow down on the delicious food, and leave with change from the $10 bill with which you paid. You get to choose the... More
