Four of us went here for dinner and sat on the stools looking out at the water. There were seals chasing boats and the funky smell of fishing. The place is definitely not fancy. You place your own order, grab a number and they bring the food to you. Between the four of us we had grilled fish platters, salad... More

Well.. from the reviews that I had read my expectations were high. I ordered the shrimp cocktail, $8.50. Fish tacos. $3.50 each one. My wife had the ceviche of the day which was octopus. $5. My daughter ordered the seafood platter. $14. So as you can see from photos it looks like a lot of food. $55 total bill. First... More

A good friend who lives nearby introduced me to Mitch's. Good burgers, he said. There are burgers on the menu as well as many other items. There's a list of the fresh fish available and various preps. I love swordfish and hadn't it so long....had to do the grilled swordfish steak sandwich. In a word, delicious! We will be going... More

This place was five minutes from our hotel on Shelter Island. We had a little trouble finding parking there was a lot full sign when there was spots available but we got in and the place does validate your parking for one hour from the time your ticket is stamped. The place is small with seats outside with a view... More

Very hard to find. Sits behind a tackle shop in the Marina overlooking the water. Seats are offered inside as well as along the rail outside. Stand in line to order and the choices are very good. Plates come with Fries and Cole slaw. I had the sampler which was 3 shrimp, cod and crab cake. My wife had the... More

I came here for the Taste of Pt Loma a few months back & had the scallop ceviche, it was so yummy. We returned Sep 12th for dinner. The area itself was crazy busy with day/evening trip deep sea fishing charters & local fisherman, so be advised parking is difficult. The line was pretty long but moved fairly quickly. I... More

Mitch's Seafood is a small informal restaurant that specializes in seafood. Located in the rear of a Bait and Tackle shop, the restaurant looks out over the San Diego harbor. Tacos, Sandwiches, and Salads are popular fare at this restaurant. Prices are very reasonable. Patrons order at the counter, pick a table (inside or outside), and take in the view... More

This place may not suit everyone. It is right on the marina . You walk in, decide what you want from the display board, pay for it then go and sit down and wait for it . If you ordered a drink, they'll call out and you go and get your drinks. The person you deal with ,seems to lack... More

We came for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. I had fish tacos-the fish was REALLY good, but as a taco-a little disappointing because it was just the fish in the corn tortilla with salsa. No cabbage or avacado or lettuce. We also had fries and they were really good. My husband had the seafood stew and he liked it very... More
