I heard about this great place on Guy Fieri's Food Network show, "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives", and I must say, Guy got it right! Whatever you do, don't go on a holiday. We read the reivews here and made reservations for Thanksgiving. We arrived on time and were told that the wait would be "15 minutes." The entry area was completely chaotic. The women at the hostess stand had extremely minimal English-speaking skills. The person announcing the names (whose tables were ready) could not... more

You feel like you've stepped back in time in this restaurant. Reminds me a bit of PA-Dutch feel/food. Locals joint - lots of senior citizens and friendly, knowledgable staff. more

I went to Hob Nob Hill after hearing great reviews from my mother-in-law and her friends. The wait staff was great although we could never tell who our waitress was because everyone there stopped by our table throughout the meal. I had blueberry pancakes and one egg.
