We stumbled upon Hash House A Go Go while walking to our original destination. We looked at the menu, thought it looked cool, were hungry, and decided to give it a try. What a great decision. Good food. Be careful if you sit outside, there were flies everywhere. The portions are out-of-control, and to be honest, pretty unnecessary. But that’s probably how this place gets so much attention. I would stick with the eggs dishes. Although the pancake looks awesome …because it’s so big, something about it is just off, probably because it’s too thick. more

This place is located in the Hillcrest section and I would highly recommend it before a visit to the Zoo because it provided excellent fuel for the day. I went to San Diego in March 2009 for a conference. I ate breakfast one morning at HH A Go Go and it was awesome. Best egg scramble and biscuits that I've ever had. They also have a very unique spread to go on the biscuits that's unbelievable. I can't wait to go back next year. more

OMG!!! That's what I can say about this place. Food is absolutely delicious. Watch out for the sizes they are H U G E ....
