The restaurant of the famous hotel "The US Grant". Very elegant, sophisticated place to dine. Open during the whole day - breakfast is outstanding. The "Müsli" or fruit plate with the special granola are definitely worth a try.

We dined at the Grant Grill before opening night of A Masked Ball. Our table (#1) was lovely (cozy corner booth at the back next to the private dining room). Our server Natalie (who is perhaps the most professional, knowledgeable, and friendly server I've ever encountered in any fine dining establishment) assured us she'd worry about keeping us on schedule... Service at the bar is very good but you wait a long time at tables and it was not that busy. We had about 6 people at ta table and waited at least 10 minutes. A few reordered wine when the sevice person said she could pour that herself. It took 15 minutes to get to us as we were... More

This place is really a great experience, I especially liked the decor of the dark wood walls and floors and the old, back in time look of the bar. Service is top notch and well done (thank you Natalie) with just the right amount of attentiveness. It's classy and elegant without being snobbish. I love the menu, the selections and... More

We stopped in for a happy hour experience and were quite pleased. We had some drafts of the local San Diego Mission Brewery Blonde, darn good beer and it is nice to see our local industry supported. They do not have much selection here which is unfortunate and an error on their managements part. Hello, this is the micro brew... More

For lunch, you must have mock turtle soup. If is excellent. The staff was very friendly and when we came back our waiter welcomed us back. I had a continetal breakfast one morning and the sevice was a little slow, although on Sunday when my wife and I had breakfast the service was very good. We had eggs benedict and... More

In the heart of it all. Gorgeous Decor everywhere. The Bar is really fancy with great seating at the very posh bar, in booths or I especially enjoyed the sexy lounge in the front with sofas and pillows. Impeccable service. Of course the food is soooo good, and presented in an excellent manner. O, the bread basket is to die... More

You can take chances at the Grant Grill. You'll probably win each time. I recently had six meals, along with six other people, in this restaurant over three days, and I managed to try a good number of their offerings. We could have hopped around, but we kept going back to the Grant Grill. There must have been a very... More
