I'm calling this more of an 'experience' than just a meal. Yes I thought the food was delicious - we actually had dinner and breakfast here. However I think the top-notch service and Decor elevated this to the next level. The live music Saturday night was such a great addition - highly recommended! As far as the food itself -... More

It's a very pretty room, and I had a champagne cocktail which was done very nicely.. in fact it wasn't on the Happy Hour menu and the bartender was nice enough to give me the Happy Hour Discount. I had a few appetizers, I didn't care for the way they prepared their oysters, and the peppered lamb meatballs were overkill... More

The ribeye was absolutely perfect, one of the best steaks I've had on the West Coast. The lamb dish was also amazing. Awesome sized portions for a fine dining restaurant Definitely recommend the Centennial Manhattan, as well. Hands down the best Manhattan I've ever had. Stellar service... no complaints at all.

I suppose there are less expensive places to eat in this neighborhood, but then the law of the jungle dictates that you always get what you pay for. With that in mind, one should set aside a special event and give this establishment a go. Set in an old, historical hotel complete with marble and chandeliers, we were greeted warmly... More

The service was very good and the food was great overall, except for the raw beef. They couldn't have given my friend a smaller portion if they tried.

We were staying at the US Grant and decided to have dinner at the Grant Grill as it was a special occasion, The dinner was wonderful, especially the dry aged beef, the wine list was extensive and we picked a wonderful Syrah, our waitress made the evening very special with amazing service. I would have highly recommended this restaurant but... More

I have stayed and dined at the U.S. Grant Hotel in San Diego several times, and the food always has been very good, but the new chef has taken it up a notch. The dishes are creative, the ingredients are fresh and bursting with flavor, and the service provided by Natalie (dinner) and Auggie (breakfast) was outstanding, as was the... More

I was alone for a nice breakfast. I was waiting for a hostess to show up at the "Please Wait to be Seated" sign for at least ten mins. There is a coffee stand for guests nearby so while waiting I poured myself a coffee. The hostess showed and was friendly. I was seated at a table for 6. That's... More

Although I was not staying at the US Grant this trip I decided to pay a fist to the bar at the Grant Grill. Usually I only have a snack and a drink but decided to have dinner here instead and was very pleased. The staff are extremely friendly and the bar-tender whose name is escaping me now has been...
