We always go to the same restaurant in Little Italy and decided it was time to try a new one. What a wonderful surprise! The place was small, but with the perfect ambiance and the waiter was great! We loved our dinners...my husband had the lasagne and couldn't quit telling me how great it was. I had the puttanesca with... More

Just so you know outdoor heaters were on last night so it was cozy rather than chilly. I had angel hair pasta with tomato garlic and ricotta for $15. Bruschetta was good. House bread hot and tasty. Service was extremely nice.

We were a party of 12 and called for a last minute reservation. They were so kind about it and made us a table on the back patio. It was a chilly evening but the overhead heaters kept us warm. The food was excellent!

Just had dinner with 20 other people. Food and service were fantastic! Thanks to Patrick and our other wonderful servers. The calamari was some of the best I have had in a long time. The butternut squash ravioli and veal piccata were perfect. The desserts - don't know what to say other than the perfect ending. Next time I am... More

We had dinner here one evening. The entrees run from about $15-$25. I had the spaghetti Bolognese, and it was excellent. I hate spaghetti sauce that is runny, but this one was nice and thick, with a good amount of meat in it. They also serve pizza. The restaurant was nicely lit (I hate restaurants that are so dark you... More

It's a hit or miss with this restaurant. I came here in 2013 during my last visit and had great food. This time in December 2014, some of our dishes were good and some were not. The pizza crust tasted raw at some areas. My angel hair pasta with simple tomato sauce was quite good. My husband's sandwich was bland... More

My date had high expectations. He made NYE reservations and wore a stunning suit and tie. When we arrived, we were ushered--not into the main dining room--but into the tawdry deli cafe connected to the restaurant. The hostess apparently saw no difference between a well-dressed couple and the take-out crowd in baseball caps. The instant we sat on the chairs,... More

Went here for lunch on a Panama Canal cruise stop early in the year. Enjoyed the service, lunch and especially (it was Tuesday 50% off wine bottles). So we made a reservation for a Tuesday dinner on this San Diego visit. Arrived just before the appointed time, table ready. Went to the washroom, no paper towel in the dispenser and... More

On my last trip to San Diego, I had brunch here with my friends. My food was really good (egg omelette alla Siciliana, coffee and mimosas!), but my favorite part was definitely the fantastic cannoli I had for dessert. The service was excellent and prices reasonable. I visited three different restaurants in Little Italy and this place was my favorite.

This restaurant is a terrific little spot to grab some Italian fare. The location on India St. among several nice shops and restaurants is a plus. The service is very good, the ambiance is lovely and the fare is quite nice. We had decided that we wanted to eat Italian and where better to do that in San Diego than... More
