Very Nice Dinner

Had dinner here one night & were very happy. Little Italy was walking distance from our hotel. Welcoming staff. Service was okay. Food was very good. Added bonus: unknown to us it was Restaurant Week in San Diego so bottles of wine were half price! You have a choice of seating inside or out... read more

Sort of an old school place - you know what I mean when you see it. Had a guy with a microphone singing Italian classics. Waitress was solid with our party of five. Everyone thought their food was ok. Went here based on reviews. Stated with Cesare Salad which was described as Busalacci's famous salad. I guess Busalacci is the... More

Everything and I mean everything is perfect about this restaurant. We had the Giardiano salad, the spaghetti with meatballs (additional $4 charge but so worth it) and Tiramisu for dessert. They have a huge display from where you can choose endless sweets! Just heavenly! Great wine selection as well. You will not be disappointed!

My wife and I live in the New York City area for a few years and like every other tourist, discovered Little Italy. Thirty years latter we still go to New York once every year or two and with every visit we have dinner in Little Italy. I mention this because going into Trattoria Fantastica made me feel like we... A nice trip to Little Italy for a home cooked meal is what you will find. The menu was varied and mostly authentic and the portions were quite healthy and a good value. Seating inside or out is available and the staff is friendly and efficient.

A long time family run true Italian restaurant in the middle of San Diego's Little Italy. Save the airfare to Italy. Come to little Italy. savor the pasta, pizzas, and appetizers with a glass of Super Tuscan. You will know your've been someplace special.

There has ti be better Italian restaurants in San Diego. The waitress was acting as if she was doing us a favor, but the waiter was very nice even though he was not our waiter. The pasta was not great, the appetizers were vey good. Probably will not return
