We walked down the main street in Little Italy trying to decide where to eat. There were lines everywhere, which is always a good sign. We stepped up to Trattoria Fantastica and loved the green and white tablecloths - something just called us to this one. We were seated very quickly, had an AWESOME server (wish I remembered her name).... More

Had a late lunch here. Great food and service. Pizza & Pasta tasted fantastica! Half-price wine on Tuesdays, but prices are reasonable for the area anyway. If you are looking for a traditional italian restaurant in San Diego's Little Italy this place is well worth a visit.

Saturdays in Little Italy are synonymous with the open air farmer's market and an early breakfast at Trattoria Fantastica is a good choice to commence the market journey while dining a la fresco . I made a reservation through Open Table that secured a lovely spot. The coffee rich and flavorful and the Eggs Benedict made with prosciutto were superb.... More

Great selection of Italian dishes. My wife had risotto and I had eggplant parmigiana. Traditional cooking. Leave room for wide selection of Italian pastries for dessert. Service was excellent and attentive.

At the end of August last year (2013) I had to attend a conference in San Diego and brought my family along. It was our first time in California. We went to Trattoria Fantastica and loved it. We went there several times during our time there and got to know most of the staff. Piero, Vince, and Margaret all served... More

We were hungry and decided to stop off for a meal of Italian food. Being Italian myself it's hard to find food as good as my mums. Ohh my the food was delicious. Service was great, atmosphere was great.

We visited this restaurant on Sunday 9th of Aug, from ManchesterUK . There was six in our party and up until we were leaving the experience and food were pretty good. On exiting the restaurant ,our son overheard the waiter that served us (who made out he owned the place) swearing to other staff about the perceived lack of tip... More

This is busy place but worth waiting for. The waiters are friendly and there is a good vibe.. the food was good and the wine was cheap because of half price Tuesday. I would visit again.

The five of us came here for a late lunch on a Sunday. First of all, parking was difficult. I wished we were staying in the city and not have to worry about parking at eateries. We have a little one in our party and they made sure he was comfortable and even have him a little gelato to calm... More
