Visiting for just a day in town, and on the way to another restaurant, drove by the Fish Market. On a whim, we drove in, and deciding to forgo the battle for a metered parking spot (understatement!), went the valet route instead ($10 if you eat there, $20 without a validation). Well worth the $. We were seated at a... More

After our previous visit to the roof , we gave the market a try. The staff were excellent and helpful and the food was actually better than upstairs. The buzz from the crowd made dining an experience and the very adjacent market (still operating) gave us a good look at what we were about to eat.

Have had the opportunity to dine here a few times for both lunch and dinner. Quality of food and atmosphere has always been very consistent. If you don't like the sights and smell of being right on the bay this probably isn't your best choice. Strong ocean and fish aroma gives this place its great feel! Food is priced on... More

The seafood in here is excellent and the service is quick. I had the "crushed Tilapia" dish and it was very tasty and the service size adequate. The view is very nice. Draft beer the coldest I ever had. On the upper floor the restaurant is more upscale and the menu is different. I ate here 3 times! They get... More

Had dinner here. Pretty crowded but we only waited about 15 mins. RIght next to the USS Midway so if there is a wait you can meander around outside the restaurant and there is a plenty to see. Restaurant is right on the water with great views of boats coming and going. Ask for a spot on the enclosed patio... More

I requested a local fish and ordered a Moon Fish (Opah) that only lives in San Diego waters. As you walk in to the restaurant you can see the fish that is served and sold in a fish market. Nice experience.

We sat out on the patio and watched the sunset. The service was fairly slow and fair but the food was great! They were very accommodating with special requests. We had the scallops and rockfish. The fingerling potatoes were not great however the veggies we good. No chocolate dessert for those who care about such things.

Its a bit pricey $$$$ and its not quiet but the food is great and a great time with others. We went on a Sunday night and the fish was fresh and the beer cold. What more can you ask for?

The atmosphere was awesome, we where seated on the deck outside. Watching the sunset while we eat Cajun shrimp, Lobster salad, was just icing on the night. Prices were okay. We will go back and eat again

We visited (4 of us) over labor day weekend so we were not able to get a window seat, but we still had a view of the harbor. My husband and I shared a bowl of clam chowder and it was the best we've ever had. The sour dough bread leaves you craving more. My husband had the prawns and... More
