Try Roy's for fish in this general area. It should be much better at a sea port. It just wasn't as fresh as I expected. My wife had the fish tacos they're better at Pruesto.

Was in the mood for fish and chips. Saw they had them on the menu so I went for it. The fish was coated with bread crumbs not a real batter as I would have expected. As a result they were dry and almost uneatable. The chips were shoe string fries and served Luke warm. The view from the outdoor... More

our fourth time there, and we shall be back many more. served by Juanito, who is both bartender and chef, at the inside bar, the experience could not habe been more pleasant. the fish is exceedingly fresh, and served in generous portions, both sashimi and cooked, while Juanito entertains with tales of his forty years in the business

We dined at this restaurnat on a very crowded holiday night but we were fortunate to have a table on the outside deck where we could enjoy the evening breeze and see the boats on the water. Ther terrific sunset added to the experience. We had some very nice fish and the restaurant was reasonably priced. We were made to... More

I was visiting my girlfriend and this is where she took me.i have to say that I loved everything I had. The food was amazing. I am so picky with seafood but this was very fresh and really good! We had the pleasure to have a relaxed, romantic dinner on the deck of The Fish Market Restaurant and we highly recommend it, with these hints to make an even better experience. Located right on the waterfront promenade in San Diego (right adjacent to the Midway!) it is easy to find. Our hints start here: 1. Get there EARLY (before... More

Very good experience. I started with the Dungeness Crab cocktail (excellent), then the swordfish was cooked to perfection. The braised brussel sprouts were delicious. Au Gratin potatoes....you may wonder, what's so special about au gratin potatoes. Well, these were the best potatoes ever! You must get these. They were great. Service was pretty good. The only issue I had was... More

I had dined here the last trip to San Diego, about 6 years ago, and it was much better then. I was extremely disappointed in the meal this time. None of the people in our party thought their fish was very good at all. When at a Seafood Restaurant you hope the grilled vegetables aren't the best thing on your... More

We had dinner with a view of the houbor which was very serene. The menu has something for every taste. I especially loved their very chrispy bread! We went early for dinner (5:00) and there was no wait. My choppino was huge (I got the small portion, the large would feed two people) but the bread was awesome! I'd go... More
