Very good food, too pricey

This place provides a very high quality food in a low quantity. I ordered Alaskan Halibut which was very tasty but it came in two very small pieces and it cost me $30. Too pricey. The view is great. The service is average.

I was looking forward to eat at this famous restaurant, particularly when at the entrance there is a fabulous display of all kind of fish. Unfortunately my sword fish was very average and strangely it could not be cooked rear...? Hence very dry and test less.Probably I should have gone to the more expensive upstair section as downstair were we... More

Located on San Diego bay next to the USS Midway museum this is a must visit for fine food and great atmosphere. We arrived in time for happy hour than were seated outside with a great view of Coronado Island. Our server was excellent with a good understanding of the large menu and gave great explanation of the various fresh... More

We were finished with our tour of the nearby USS Midway and looking for a place to eat. Lucky for us, we saw this restaurant in the same parking lot. We only had a 5 min wait for a view table. The decor inside is nautical/fishing and you can see the local fish displayed in a refrigerated case as you... More

The Fish Market offers a decent selection of seafood options, but everything my friends and I tried failed to impress. Don't get me wrong the food is okay and the price point is reasonable, but there is better seafood to be had in San Diego.

We had just toured the Midway, and were STARVING! Rainy weather (yes, rain in San Diego!) kept us from venturing too far from the Midway, so we went to The Fish Market,

Sitting outside on the water - how much better can it be? Wait- there's more- seafood too! The food was excellent. If you have a small-ish party (4 or less) I recommend sitting on the bay. Lots to look at and a beautiful sunset.

This is a beautiful restaurant which is right on the bay and beautiful! Going on a nice, sunny day you can sit by the windows with views of the water outside. The bar is very nice too, but what's most impressive is the fish market as you walk in with fish for sale to take home and prepare. They have... More

Great variety of menu choices and beautiful view. Upstairs is more formal - but i prefer having a glass of wine out on the downstairs patio. I have entertained many co-workers from NY at the upstairs restaurant and everyone loves this place.

Service was good. I really enjoyed the view of the harbor. Had swordfish here for the first time. It was wonderfully cooked, great seasoning and was out in good time. The restaurant is huge and caters directly to tourists coming off of the cruise ships. It is a must try when in San Diego.
