Dulce de Delicious!!!!

By far the best food we have had in San Diego during our week long vacation. After a shoddy Taco Tuesday we decided to try Extraordinary. So glad we did! My husband and I stopped by last Friday after catching a show at the Civic theatre. He had a pineapple pastry with Bavarian crème filling and I had a slice of their Shangri-La cake. My husband pastry was tasty, but nearly enough pineapple to satisfy the sweet tooth. The Shangri-La cake looked promising, but the cake was so dry it... More

We stopped by after an early dinner on a Saturday night. Prepare to wait in line for about 30 minutes before you can order. They have inside and outside seating. The dessert was excellent and beautiful. The coffee also hit the spot. About $13 for a double coffee and piece of cake big enough for two. Yum.

Stopped here recently at the recommendation of a friend. The desserts truly are extraordinary. Decorated with fresh flowers they are almost too pretty to eat. I had a mango and passionfruit cheesecake that was sinfully delicious- about halfway through I discovered it had a fresh mango filling and nearly squealed with delight! It was well worth the price. We stopped... More

When you come to San Diego downtown areas you have to go to this place. You can have lunch or dinner, but you have to save room for their unbelievable desserts. This is the main event!!!

We tried a variety of desserts during our stay here. All the desserts we tried were all beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. It was always very hard to decide on what to try. You walk in and there are a bunch of full cakes, some candy, cake bars, cake slices and individual cakes. They have tables inside... More

This place feeds the eyes first. The beautiful pastries created with the utmost care is a sight to behold. It was a challenge choosing what to order. I opted for what I hoped for was a healthier option: a napoleon slice. My husband had the apple cake. When our desserts were served, the plating was a different story. The pastries... More

Some of the best dessert I have ever ate. Large serving may account for the $8 piece of cake. We had a chocolate cake and tarimasu that was awesome.

The desserts were amazingly beautiful. Some were better than others. Personally I love there desserts that incorporate lavender. Good options of teas and coffees. Great little setting, can't always find seating....but worth ordering anyways. The desserts and coffee and drinks are very pricey, we would go for a special occasion. Delightful place to indulge!

Tons of delicious choices! My wife and i decided to order a slice of the Viking cake. It was chocolate dulche de leche - or something like that. In one some kind of best cake award. And it did not disappoint. I loved the vibe of the restaurant and will definitely go back.
