Among the finest most tasteful, delicious and beautiful desserts experienced, in a funky and fun part of town, close to Balboa Park. Clearly a must destination when in SD.

I HAVE to have lunch at this place. And we did! I had the most expensive Cobb Salad ever and we shared a Torte Misu. Yum. Just can't go wrong here. I picked up some breakfast pastries that mostly made it to morning.

I live a block from this restaurant and I have had several of their desserts. Never disappoints, the tres leches cake is divine. However, recently for the first time I had their Kale Salad. It was so good. I am definitely going to start eating lunch here and not just stop buy for dessert.

Cakes are rich and delicious. They rotate there menu on which desserts they make each day/week so you need to come back to try a variety of what they have to offer. I've never had a dessert here that i didn't like. Be prepared to wait close to an hour on the evenings during the weekend.

My wife and I stopped in after a quick stop in Little Italy. She had the Neapolitan and I had the blood orange ricotta cake. Both were stellar! The service was great as well. Can't go wrong here. Plenty to choose from. Pricey but worth it. More than enough to share as well.

Extraordinary experience! Upon arrival you check in with the hostess and then you are allowed to go in and begin to browse the display cases filled with beautifully presented desserts. Choosing only one is not an easy job. It appeared that we would be waiting for quite a while but we were called to our table after only 10 minutes... More

I'm a big dessert fan but this place does not meet my standards. The cafe ambience was so so and there's no air conditioning,(is hot day at 85 degrees and humid) The cakes were beautiful but serving presentation was sub standard. I ordered the tirimisu and a cappuccino. The cake was mushy and taste nothing like tirimisu. Too much money... More

Almost every time we're in San Diego, we have to make a stop here for dessert. Sometimes we dine in, mostly to go. The prices are high, lines are long, parking isn't free or close by. But it's usually worth the trouble. My wife just loves the desserts here, I'm not a big dessert person but I'll go for a... More

The service was fast, friendly, and efficient, the goods showcased beautifully. Too bad they didn't live up to their looks, though. We ordered 4 different types of desserts, and when there was a cake layer, the cake was dry. Also, a particular slice of one was much much smaller than the other of the same type of dessert, so portion... More
