My husband and I spend a romantic weekend at a historic B&B (Britt Scripps Inn) and a staff member suggested we try this restaurant. Amazing! I like dessert but this place is over the top. I have to agree with many of the other reviewers regarding this establishment. I have been to both locations and have encountered the same bad attitude with the staff. Generally, just a lack of concern & warmth. Although the desserts look amazing, the attitude of the staff has made my visits less enjoyable. Unless the owner is teaching her staff... more

I have no idea why people love this place so much..it has cakes, pastries...nothing special. It smells odd...skip it, go to City Delicatessan and get a canoli or eclair...you will be much happier! more
