This restaurant just moved to the Liberty Station area (2965 Historic Decatur Rd.) We were visiting San Diego on vacation and tried it out. The wait was over an hour the first time we checked. It would be a fun place to eat anytime, but we happened to be there on a day the Food Network was shooting a feature for Diners, Drive Inns and Dives, which made it very memorable. Corvette Diner is a fun place for kids and adults but the biggest problem is that there are no reservations. This is a HUGE problem if you have a limited time and not the whole day to wait in line to be seated. The restaurant is popular but you can wait 1-2 hours just to be seated! Of course once... more
