Fun for kids

We went on the Sunday before President's day with a party of 8. At 7:30 pm they told us it would be around a 1 hour and 45 minute wait. It actually ended up taking 1 hr and 20 minutes. So we went to their nice arcade section with 4 kids and spent a fortune waiting for our tables. The... read more

This place was made to entertain kids. Huge game arcade that parents drag screaming kids from who don't want to eat the food but want to stay to play the games. The music from the 60's and 70's is so pervasive as it thunders out of the speakers. There is a live DJ and the service staff dances regularly to... More

Not your normal dining experience. It seems like most of the groups there were celebrating a special occasion. Lots of sights, sounds and activities. Food OK. (Do try the Rory burger!) Entertaining staff. Lots of decorations to keep you occupied. We took our future son-in-law there for his 30th birthday. He is a San Diego county native and had never... More

Too noisy to even have a conversation. The food is average diner food that is overpriced. Don't waste your time or money

Came here for a birthday party and as soon as you walk in there is a lot of activity going on. The staff is really happy and friendly, the music is loud and there is a lot of singing by the staff. The food is classic diner food so not much for dieters. I had the Rueben and my husband... More

I loved it! The diner has a funky & festive atmosphere. It's great for families or for a date . Our server made my grandsons balloon hats. She was great, I wish that I remembered her name. The food was good from appetizers to burgers. The milkshakes were huge! We had a great time with delicious food. I'd love to... More

We try to go here every time we are in San Diego because our 10-year old son just loves it. He cannot eat the food due to a special medical diet, but he orders a soda and enjoys the atmosphere and going to the "garage" game room after our dinner. My husband and I enjoy the food, which we would... More

Went there with my boyfriend and it'll be our last time. Music was insanely loud and kids were running everywhere. Food was ok, nothing special and definitely overpriced. The decor was neat and the staff was nice. Couldn't help but notice our server getting a little sarcastic with us when he saw that we were ready for our meal to... More

We were looking for a different experience for dinner when in San Diego and saw this place featured on TV. It did not disappoint with the bright neon setting, loud music and lots of 50s memorabilia. The food and service were good - nice buyers and shakes. We were entertained by a roving magician for a small tip. There was... More

I'm really not sure what the appeal is for this place. We met some family there over holiday. Their choice. All the reviews said it was loud. No joke...we could barely have a convo. Sure they do some crazy things, but I'm not sure it's worth, it since food isn't stellar. Other reviews I read really slammed the food. We... More
