We chose to eat at the CBC twice while we were in San Diego. On both occasions, we ordered the bavarian pretzel and I swear, the three of us nearly fought over it. My son is an unusually picky eater, but loved his pretzel and pizza. My husband and I split the turkey burger and wahoo tacos. Both were incredible!... More

This is a good restaurant. We were looking for something casual and this fit the bill. They have excellent beer selections, a varied and tasty menu and pleasant servers. It's hard to ask for more. I wouldn't pick this one for a special occasion, but for a good, reasonably-priced dinner, it's great.

Had a large group last night but we only had to wait 30 min. Large space inside. Good variety of beers and food. Typical pub food but very good. Very busy at end of the week and weekends as the number of people on island increases. Does not take reservations. For a pub atmosphere worth a try.

We visited the brewing company after a long walk around Coronado. We were tired, it was late and we were looking forward to a good dinner. We arrived at about 7:30 pm on a Sunday evening and ended up waiting 45 minutes for a table. Unfortunately after being seated and ordering, our waiter forgot to turn in our order. When... More

Good home brewed beers and good food! At times, especially on weekends, you my find there is a short wait. Well worth the wait though! Great atmosphere and good service. Each time I have visited, the food has been very good.

Try not to get too overwhelmed by the sheer number of taps when at the bar-there are a lot! Bartenders are more than happy to give a sample to try. Or try the sampler, its a great way to break the ice.

Great beers. The Mermaid's Red ale is their best all around beer. The Islander IPA is a little bit lighter as far as IPA goes, but it is a great beer. The Idiot IPA is a good option if you want something a little hoppier. They frequently brew limited releases if you want to try something different. First time visitors... More

I could seriously eat here every day. They have such a great menu with great prices. This is evidenced by the wait line outside if you get there too late. I came here first two weeks ago with a couple of girlfriends. We all had to wait about 10 to 15 minutes for a table. It's worth the wait. We... More

Coronado Brewing Company continues to impress us on our trips to San Diego. The service is super and the menu serves any desire. Extremely popular with tourists and local alike; plan on a wait in tourist season; but you'll be glad you waited. From seafood, to pastas, hamburgers and great salads, I have yet to have a average meal. As... More
