Great Food and Even Better Beer

First, I love any places that brews an Abbey Style Dubbel. They have an excellent one. A real brewpub with brewing onsite. Excellent food and service every time I visited. Give the Dubbel and Wit a definite try. Food wise the flatbread and garlic cheese fries were excellent. I wished we had... read more

The food here is pretty good. Since it was a rainy night we decided ahead of time to get take-out and watch season 3 of House of Cards in our room. You cannot call in Take-out ahead so you have to go to the restaurant and place your take-out order. It was a simple order for 3. However the order... More

We just had beer here... and it was really good. The beer is tasty! Service is speedy, and even though we were standing near the bar when we arrived (lack of seating) we got our beer right away. Staff is really friendly (as most is in SD). This bar needs to be bigger. The beer here is really good and... More

This was my first visit to the Coronado Brewing Company. The restaurant was busy but the wait was only 10-15 minutes. The bar was energetic. Overall the food was OK and the prices were average. Will try again upon my return to the area.

Always fun to have a local microbrewery and the fresh suds are good, also available elsewhere on the island. But I don't go here for the food.

The menu is extensive for a brew-pub. The beer selection is very good too. The open-air interior in delightful. The prices are ok. The only thing you need to watch-out for is the "VOLCANO HOT WINGS". These things will burn a hole in a tank. And you will be suffering for quite some time to come. The service was good... More

We took the ferry over to coronado island and walked to this fun restaurant and brewery. The food was very good and the beer was even better. The restaurant itself is very appealing. We had sandwiches and we were stuffed when we left. Only criticism was they got busy and couldn't keep up with customers. Other than that I would... More

We sampled a few of their beers and all were great. The food was good with ample portions. Try it if you are in the area.

The Coronado Brewing Company is a neat brewery with some really great beers. It was super packed on a Sunday and we waited about 30 minutes for a table at lunch time. We didn't mind the wait as we sampled the different brews. Once we were seated, the service was prompt but I don't recall her ever coming back to... More
