Nice atmosphere, great beer selection.

First of all, the staff was great in accommodating eight of us just 15 minutes before the kitchen closed. Weird, though, that the kitchen closed at 9. It was pretty busy when we got there so that didn't make much sense. Kids eat free on Tuesdays, but the kids meals are only $5 anyway. Lots of... read more

Visited in early Sept 2014. Took the ferry over for a later meal. There was quite a wait, but the food is exceptional and generously portioned. Staff was friendly -worth the wait!

We stopped by here after a long day of walking around San Diego. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun and the service was good. The food was better than I was expecting for bar food- I definitely recommend the pesto shrimp pizza... YUM. Drinks were good too, but if you don't care for beer, you don't have much else to... The food and locally brewed beer was pretty good. We arrived during happy hour and a lot of menu items were $2 cheaper than normal. Our dessert came out very overcooked, but they immediately fixed it when we brought it to their attention. The atmosphere was fun and the service was quick. Parking was very limited with a small lot... More

The food and service was great. Nice variety of food to choose from. We had excellent calamari and then fish tacos.

A friend recommended this place, but he hadn't been here for a few years. The food was just average (although the loaded tots were really good) pub food mostly. The beer was great, wish they had offered more tastings. It's a loud place, but that was nice with having a baby with us.

Just ate a late dinner last night and had a fantastic pizza and Shrimp Diablo plus the Mermaid red ale... So good! Had a very short wait at 8pm. Entertaining sayings all over the restaurant! Highly recommend as its at the end of Orange and away from the crowds by the Hotel Del Coronado!

Elbowed our way in for just enough room to enjoy the bar and the craft brew. Perhaps on a less busy night, it would have been much more enjoyable. Location and great beer, however gives them a thumbs up.

We had two meals here on a recent visit. My husband thought my coffee stout was the best, but I liked my Red better. The Wit was ordinary, but good. He liked the regular IPA better than the Idiot IPA. My Mediterranean calzone tasted good, but was a little watery. My fish and chips we good, but I didn't understand... More

I enjoy Coronado's beer and had heard good things about their restaurant and brewery, so I made a visit. It did not disappoint! First, they have a great beer selection from sours to Double IPA's and everything in between. Small, but comfortable. The food was far better than I had anticipated and the prices for the food were fantastic. I... More
