SanDiego is a swell spot for beer tourism and Coronado Brewing Company holds its own amongst the many options available. It's a large pub that feels more like a mid-scale restaurant than a brewery. There were about a dozen beers in a variety of styles available, all brewed in house. Everything I tried was between good and excellent and I... More

We had a glass of the Orange Avenue WIT at a pizza place down the street and they let us know we could purchase the beer directly from CBC. We went straight over purchased a 64oz refillable growler and a 32oz refillable growler as a gift. We visit San Diego often and plan to stop at the Coronado Brewing Company... More

First stop on a bit of a brewery your in the area, and we decided to have lunch. I had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and it was just perfect with roasted bell peppers. My wife had the garlic chicken pizza which was also nice. Already knew Coronado's beers were good, but enjoyed tasting a few more in a flight.... More

On our trip to San Diego and Coronado, this brewery became our go to place after a long day spent exploring. The food, like most places near San Diego, is just incredible and the brewery has a real down to earth staff that is truly a locally owned company. They really love serving their patrons.

We had a beer on Orange Avenue on Coronado and found out that close to the ferry landing point is the actual brewhouse of this company. So we got there and asked to see the coppers. We got a private tour which was very enjoyable. If you have time also take a moment to eat and drink here!

My husband is a beer snob, and he loved the beer! Our picky 13 year old eater had a pizza and LOVED it! The other two kids had beer battered fish and chips and a bacon cheeseburger...both were GREAT! Hubby had the Baja Burger, and he said it looked (and tasted) like it should be photographed. I had the cobb... More

Good beers to choose from and very nice food choices. They have a good happy hour and it is great if you can sit outside.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. It was a nice day, so I wished they had more outdoor seating. The interior is a large space, which feels a little disconnected. I tried a few of their beers which were pretty good, but not very memorable. I also had their daily pizza special, which was a blue crab... More

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The staff was very knowledgeable about their beers and the food was delish. I had the lobster mac and cheese and it was awesome. The fudge dessert was way too big to finish! We had to wait for a table so I would recommend making a reservation.

We really wanted to like Coronado Brewing Company. We love beer and the beer they brew is excellent. The servers were friendly and solicitous. The food, however, was, at best, mediocre: sandwich, salad, and pizza you can get just about anywhere in America. The place was also disappointingly loud. The acoustics aren't good and the customers are boisterous, which leads... More
