While I am an dedicated Trip Advisor follower, I did not flag this restaurant in my saves prior to my family's first vacation to San Diego. After looking over our resorts' recommendations, I reluctantly agreed we would go to Cafe Bella Italia for dinner on Sunday night. We were immediately seated in the front patio per our request to sit... More

Not really sure why this place is rated that high. We were there for the dinner. $16 Ravioli Spinaci did not have 10 pc of Ravioli in it. They hyped up the desert to be the best in town. The desert of Nutella cake was ice frozen, could not cut it with the provided knife. The taste was like i... More

This Garnet Ave staple is such an under the radar gem. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, lots of room. We just love the food!

We went there for dinner and had the best Italien Food in San Diego ever. The Service is original from Napoli / Italy and really good. The appertizers and desserts are amazing, maybe a little bit expensive but worth every single penny.

My husband and I have been here several times and it is my favorite special "date night" restaurants. The menu is authentic Italian as are the chefs and much of the wait staff. I have enjoyed the veal and pasta dishes especially. The dessert menu was not my favorite, but with appetizer and dinner, you don't really have room for... More

I'd been to Caffe Bella Italia in February of this year and was blown away by the excellent service and food. So I recommended it highly to my family when we were looking for a restaurant on a Friday evening in June. We had reservations for 13 and we were greeted warmly when we arrived. After that I have to... More

We discovered this Italian restaurant as visitors to Pacific Beach. It was a refreshing welcome from the usual fast food chains or bar and grills. This restaurant cooks real homemade Italian food made from scratch and offers certified Italian wines. The fresh pasta was cooked al dente, the veal served with a tasty sauce, and the pizzas baked with a... More

I enjoyed my meal last night at this Pacific Beach eatery on Garnet Street. My wife and I had lasagna with gelato for desert. We had a nice Chianti that our friends picked out. Our pre dinner calamari was cooked too much. Our salami with buratta cheese was delicious. The owners, who are from Milan and Sorrento, were fun and... More

Service was spot on but that was not enough to save the meal, or make it worth the hassle to find parking. I had been looking forward to eating here based on reviews and just didn't expect overcooked, dried out chicken parmigiana. I couldn't finish it (and it wasn't a huge portion). I also thought it would be possible to... More
