I first ate here in December 2013 as a result of having a flight cancelled until the following day. I read reviews for restaurants close to the Bahia Resort Hotel where I was staying, and found this place. 4 of us who were in the same boat travel-wise went and had a lovely meal with wonderful service. This year we... More

What a gem we found in San Diego near Pacific Beach! The manager came out and introduced himself after the server found out we are from Georgia. The managers wife is from GA! The server was from Milan, and we had a great time telling him how much we enjoyed Milan. The food was very authentic. Great homemade pasta!!! Sauce... More

We sat on the front patio on a warm Thursday evening for a very delicious Italian meal. The salads were fresh and well presented. The manager suggested that we try a bottle of wine that would soon be added to their ample wine list; it was so good that we all shared two bottles. The entrees were delicious: salmon; pasta... After traveling, we were looking for an adult meal among Sunday night student revelers. We drove by Caffe Bella Italia, between 2 storefronts and saw diners on an enclosed patio, and decided to try it. It was 6pm Sunday and we were seated immediately. The menu was enticing, the pasta homemade, the flavors delicious, During our meal the restaurant filled up,... More

By luck we were staying in Pacific Beach CA. After reviewing restaurants on another site we decided to try Caffe Bella. Even with reservations, the restaurant was very crowded. We were seated promptly, but the room was too noisy. The owner saw that I was uncomfortable and moved us to a quieter table. The food was truly made just for... More

While I am an dedicated Trip Advisor follower, I did not flag this restaurant in my saves prior to my family's first vacation to San Diego. After looking over our resorts' recommendations, I reluctantly agreed we would go to Cafe Bella Italia for dinner on Sunday night. We were immediately seated in the front patio per our request to sit... More

Not really sure why this place is rated that high. We were there for the dinner. $16 Ravioli Spinaci did not have 10 pc of Ravioli in it. They hyped up the desert to be the best in town. The desert of Nutella cake was ice frozen, could not cut it with the provided knife. The taste was like i... More
