This place is really good if you are looking for good quality Indian food. The decor is beautiful with waterfalls adorning the doors. On weekends they have a live performance by a belly dancer who keeps the guests entertained. The best part of the menu is that unlike other restaurants you can... read more

The unique thing about this restaurant is that it allows you to customize your entree by picking the base curry and adding your choice of meat or veggies and determining your level of spice etc. The food tastes good. The ambience is nice although a bit dark for family with toddlers. The service is really good. They went out of... More

After my recent, unforgettable visit to India, I feel a little more oriented when it comes to order and what to expect from this tasteful, colorful cuisine. I live at walking distance to the place, so I have visited a few times. I have no favorite dish, because everything is great every time. Their cocktails are also excellent, not to... More

We used to love this place but not any more. They have this choose your sauce and add your choice of meat which really sucks. This is not the top restaurant it used to be any more. It is like Chipotle for Indian food

I'm a foodie, and I travel a lot. I love ethnic foods of all kinds, especially Indian, and this is the BEST! My business colleague and I ordered a curry with rice, a veggie dish, and naan... and ALL the plates were returned to the kitchen WHITE. I was almost embarrassed at how thorough a job we did. The manager... More

My husband and I tried Bombay Exotic Cuisine of India because of a Groupon. But, we liked it so much we returned the next week with another couple who had never tried it. The setting is beautiful. They have a large room in the back for special events. The second time (a Saturday) a wedding party was taking place. They... More

The restaurant is located in the Hillcrest neighborhood, which is home to many good restaurants. There is some street parking, but the best bet is to go into either the lot or parking structure, both of which are nearby. The restaurant is really beautiful decorated, the highlight being a large, unique waterfall. They have booths and tables, but the booths... More

We love Indian restaurants and over the years we've gone to this restaurant on many occasions,Latest visit was another step down, however, and I am ready to give up on it. We've enjoyed the sophisticated atmosphere, the crystal lamps, the soft lighting, the exotic waterfall at the front and the lovely backlit double arched bar. I opted for a MaiTai... More

The Bombay Exotic Cuisine of India in San Diego offers a charming and most satisfying dining experience in elegant settings. We make it a point to eat here two or three times every time we visit San Diego. The restaurant offers a wide selection of authentic Indian food in its buffet — the chana masala, samosas, and fried coconut cauliflower... More

This restaurant if very nicely decorated. Water pours from the ceiling into a basin in the middle of the restaurant--very calming. There is also a beautiful blue corridor on the way to the restrooms, as well some beautiful Indian headgear displayed on the wall. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We loved this place because you could pick the... More
