The food is fresh, and prepared as you order-it is not sitting in a warming tray. The price is right, the selection is extensive and interesting. I have not yet had one thing I did not love. The service is very quick-yet a nice atmosphere right on the main street in Coronado. It would be good for a drop in... More

Hanoi fish in black bean sauce was good, pad thai was so-so. Service was good, ambiance - no complains.

We were touring Del Coronado hotel and wanted a place to have lunch. We came into Bistro d'Asia and were very plesently surprised, first by the cool decor and the great atmosphere, we wanted a quiet place to lunch, and that it was. Had we wanted we could have eaten outdoors, though their tables there were the tall kind, as... More

From the moment we arrived when the manager decided to give the table that was promised to us to his buddy that arrived after us we knew it was not going to be a good experience. I would urge you to reconsider before spending your money here.

This restaurant is in Coronado, CA, not San Diego. It is one of the few Asian restaurants in the city. There are a few other sushi places in Coronado, but there is a scarcity of other, non-Japanese, Asian cuisines. The service is hit or miss. Sometimes it is great, other times very slow and inattentive. We have had great service... More

We almost didn't go here due to the terrible reviews on Yelp. We went on a Saturday evening so they were busy. The food was good, had some dishes we hadn't tried before and were satisfied with the food and service.

Nice little place on the main street in Coronado. Some interesting dishes. Love the white fish Vietnamese style. Good deals on sushi during Happy Hour though only one beer is offered at the discounted price.

The food was slightly above average, but our server needs some training. Our appetizer came out quickly, but then our food didn't come for so long that the people next to us asked us what we ordered! They ordered at the some time and were done and paying their bill when we finally asked about our food. My guess is... More

Better than expected. We enjoyed a quick casual meal. Our server was very friendly. We recommend the shrimp skewers with lemon sauce appetizer. Entrees were pad Thai noodles and Cantonese noodles with beef. Dishes were large portions, fresh ingredients and spiced just right.

Visited after a day on the beach. First impressions weren't great as we stood at the restaurant entrance waiting to be seated while the staff stood chatting and gave us the occasion glance without acknowledging us. The place could do with a good clean. Food on the floor and grubby hand stains visible on the glass partitions. My wife ordered... More
