This was a highlight of our San Diego visit. Great music, food, cocktails and the service is first class.
Loved it! The atmosphere, the bar scene, the food, the music, the friendly staff! Great place to grab something to eat, have a drink, enjoy the bar scene and listen to good music. If you are staying for lunch or dinner the food is actually quite good. My only constructive comment is that the customers who pay the $10 cover charge... More
We went to this new restaurant in Banker's Hill for lunch yesterday. The decor and atmosphere are "gentlemen's club" dark with dark woods and leather seats. The place also has a street seating area in front of the restaurant. The back room had an on going video of Jim Croce performing. We were seated at one of the window tables... More
Great Atmosphere, loved the music and décor! Service was friendly and helpful. I would rate the food average to good, there were many appealing dishes to choose from. However, If I was wanting a "dining experience" I would pick a different place. I will go back for the music and I would eat there again. Overall, it was a very... More
Great club atmosphere in a dark lively club scene. Great live rock music,Drinks are good sometimes a bit weak but also kinda expensive. Did not try the bar menu
Well, Ingrid Croce and Jimmy Rock have done it again. The new Banker's Hill Location of Croce's has been a long time coming but worth the wait. We have watched and waited for the last year as this fine dining, Jazz club was being built, always trying to sneak a peak inside. We attended the "soft opening" on January 6,... More
A restaurant that seems catered to tourist but who food came above expectations. Good pasta, a tasty swordfish and well prepared grilled ducks. The whole party enjoyed it, we almost came back to this restaurant. Ah, good Californian wine by the glass.
We made a special trip to San Diego the last week of 2013 to have a final meal at Croce's Restaurant, which closed December 31. Luckily the new restaurant, Croce's Park West, in the Banker's Hill section of town is already open (softly) and the staff from the old place are moving to the new place. We made dinner reservations... More
Decided on this restaurant just by walking by, reading the menu, and speaking with the hostess. The OWNER seated us and must have heard us talking about it being my birthday because every staff member that we spoke to after that wished me a happy birthday. Nice touch!! The service was excellent as was the food. I saw another review... More
My husband and I ate here one evening on our vacation in San Diego. The restaurant was almost full and a band was playing, so it was loud - not the place to go for an intimate dinner. Service was friendly. They had a lot of wine choices, but prices were a bit high. Food was good, not great. The... More
