This restaurant was great for dinner. We loved that we could reserve using Open Table. The staff is mostly of Italian descent, which provides an authentic experience. The food was very good. I was a little disappointed that they were out one of the specials listed on the menu, even though we ate dinner at 6 PM. But my second... More

The staff were arrogant and bordered on rude. Food was highly overpriced and boring. My main course arrived with my starter - not something which makes you feel relaxed. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The food was very mediocre my fish was swimming in butter, my salad was soaking in vinegar and the dessert was too sweet- and the meal was pricey

We went there about 2 weeks ago and we ordered 2 pasta dishes. I ordered Parpadelle a la vodka and my husband had Rigatoni al Barolo. My meal was so big that I could barely finish it! Full of chunky pieces of crab and big shrimps! The sauce was delicious and with the perfect consistency. Having said that I could... More

My husband and I visit San Diego every summer. We returned to Asti Ristorante where we stopped for bruschetta last year. This time we ordered dinner and were very happy with the pasta dishes. The pasta itself was cooked perfectly, neither overdone nor under cooked. My husband ordered the classic spaghetti in marinara sauce which came with homemade meatballs that... More

I admit it, the menu is a little overwhelming and they definitely need to streamline it down. We ordered the calamari with veggies and have to say I would skip it. Nothing spectacular about it. Had the Cabonara pasta and my hubby had the Filet. He ordered medium but as a person who loves their steak medium rare, it was... More

This authentic Italian restaurant sits elegantly in middle of the Gas Lamp district, a setting that reminded me of many European street cafés/bistros. I had the mixed seafood grill; fish, shrimp, scallops, clams. Served with a very tasty pasta in a marinara sauce. Alessandro our waiter acted as a very helpful and friendly guide through the menu. Make sure you... More

We had really looked forward to eating at this restaurant and it was very disappointing and very costly. The service was good. My partner ordered a Cesar salad, which was very oily, way too much dressing. For the main course my partner order the angel hair with shrimp which was good, but she said she had cooked better herself and... More

The service was no good, no baddie ask me if I enjoy the food, I didn't finish all my courses. The oyster no sea taste, and the tuna has horrible taste! Can do better!

Went to Asti with colleagues at a conference and the food was just average. I was expecting better as the decor and ambience was great. The is a beautiful mural of an Italian village that made me feels as if I was in Italy but the food was mediocre at best. I am not sure if there is better Italian... More
