Lunch Salads Tasty & Healthy

Found this unique cafe through Trip Advisor search. It has an old school decor of photos, many autographed, pinned to the walls. The photos have yellowed and curled with age. Being an old guy, I can appreciate the 70's style photography. Brings back great memories. They even have a foot tall... read more

This place has been around for a long time and continues to serve up a decent breakfast. Not sure the food is the draw here as much as funkiness of it. Definitely give it a try when in the area. You won't be disappointed.

What a special experience you'll have here! We were looking for "something local" while waiting for Costco a few miles away to open. Thank you, Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed!!! Judy "the Beauty" was there, charming the customers and running around with more energy than I can hope to muster any day of my life (and I ran a... More

I took my girlfriend and her mom to get some breakfast. We ordered and waited for the food. When it arrived, the server was missing more then half my order and had forgot to give us silverware. Just before the sever was going to leave, my girlfriends mom asked for the silverware and I asked about the rest of the... More

So I live a block from here and my boyfriend and I come about once a month on week days. It's always so so when we come because it's close and they have a good coffee cake. Today it was busy because its Saturday and we were asked to write our name on the wait sheet. We saw a few... More

We live in San Diego and rarely get out of the bubble of our neighborhood. We decided to bust out and spend the weekend at the Hotel Del Coronado and ended our adventure with breakfast at the Big Kitchen. YOU MUST GO HERE. The food is completely solid, coffee is strong but not bitter and the attitude and smile that... More

We had breakfast 5 times in a row and we chose everytime something different. We ordered salsa as well which is the best. The owner Judy the Beauty was very friendly and helpfull. The placd is packed with personal pictures so never a dull moment there.

If the owner is in she will give you the biggest welcome you have ever had. It is a fun an exciting place to have breakfast in a cute part of town. Whoopi Goldberg use to wash dish here! food taste like it is from your mammas kitchen. it is a place that is super casual, but don't be fooled... More

Take a ride to South Park/Golden Hill for a breakfast or lunch treat you will not forget. If you are lucky you will find Lucy...The Beauty on Duty. If she does not find you for some strange reason, ask if she is in. Once you meet her you will not forget her. She has been treating customers to special joys... More

Went recently for lunch and was very disappointed. Not only was the food not good but the service was nothing to write home about. Our waiter was not friendly, did not come back to check on us and seemed put out when I asked for a refill on my iced tea. My hamburger was so-so and had a funny chemical... More
