Saffron is a terrific place for lunch or stopping by to pick up dinner on the way home. The food is fresh. There is lots of variety. It is the best Thai restaurant in San Diego.

Located in SAN's terminal 2's modern new food court that has floor to ceiling windows, Saffron was recommended to me by my San Diego based daughter. It has become a habit to buy the shrimp spring salad rolls even if I am not hungry! I bring them home. Three large fresh rolls come with a peanut sauce and a sweet-sour... More

I found this little gem by accident. I'd been wanting thai food for days but kept ending up at Supannee when they were closed. I had Chicken Pad Thai & it was perfect!

Thank you. As someone with gluten and dairy sensitivities, finding a decent breakfast in an airport is tough. Saffron in the San Diego airport was the best find! Hot, fresh, protein packed meal and at a reasonable price. Definitely would eat here again for any meal.

This restaurant certainly does not represent the attitude of Su Mei Yu on the program entitled Savor San Diego on PBS. My family wanted to experience the passion and knowledge of this extraordinary entrepreneur and local chef, so we visited Saffron on May 17th and were very sadly disappointed with the quality of the food, as well as the overall... I really appreciated the fresh ingredients and emphasis on healthy eating. The food quality was amazing and prices were very reasonable. My dish was FAR too spicy, but the owner was wonderful and brought us plain white rice to cool the palate. The homemade ginger tea was also amazing. I would definitely go back.

This is a quick, easy meal. The lines go fairly fast, but the parking can be difficult. I try to go before or after the main meal hours. The food is dependable and very tasty. The pad see yew and daily curries are very good.

I love the chicken and the chicken salad rolls with the sweet/spicy dipping sauce. Great prices and lots of seating.

My wife and I went to Saffron Sunday 1/12/14, and was greeted by a new employee who could care less about customer service. She had no greetings or manners. The employee teaching her also had no manners. We had better customer service before, but this day was terrible!! Also the floors were filthy, dirty and the windows were dirty. It... More

I love the Pad Thai here I would rank it as one of the top 3 best places for pad thai in San Diego. However I tried one of their salad rolls today and the shrimp was alright, but the salmon didn't agree with my taste buds at all I ended up pulling it out and eating the rest without... More
