Friday night and the place was pretty empty (not a good sign) except for some people at the bar (which you have to walk by - not a pleasant experience when they're loud and drunk). I haven't been here for years and was really looking forward to going back for the combo crab/shrimp Louie salad because their homemade Thousand Island... More

This is a place locals go for breakfast and for the nostalgia of a restaurant that has been here for a long time. Our favorite place Mitch's nearby was too full, so we walked to Red Sails and hoped for the best. We had a great table outside, and watched the birds and sea lions in the marina, but the... More

We had heard this was a friendly place- and yes it is- everyone is very friendly and there was no waiting for our group of 7. But the food quality was just OK.

This was the worst restaurant meal we have ever had, bar none. The mushroom stuffed crab appetizer was the start of a truly bad meal. i suspect the crab had come from a can.the mushrooms were old, soft and tasteless. The salad consisted of a few torn iceberg lettuce leaves, one cherry tomato and the worst blue cheese dressing i... More

I would only recommend breakfast. Lunch is mediocre. If the day is nice sit out on the patio. The eggs Benedict are always good. Mimosas and bloody Mary's are good. Watch out for the birds.

We went for dinner: Frozen pre-prepared fish in a restaurant in a marina. How do they even think of do this? If it was not for catsup and the cocktail sauce there would have been no flavor. My dinner partner ordered fish and chips. I ordered the fisherman's platter. Both were horrible. Mrs. Paul's fish sticks are much better. Nothing... More

We order halibut but we are used to Alaskan Halibut and it was not like that. It was more like Grouper but it was super good with the almond encrusted topping. The portion was huge. The wine was good and the service was excellent. View of the boat harbor and outdoor seating although we sat indoors as it was not... More

Been coming here since 1978 and still love it! It's a little more expensive now, 30 years later. Still love it! Huevos Rancheros for breakfast! Great atmosphere and the service is very good!

The food is good....but the place itself is very comfortable and the big attraction for me. You can have a dark booth..anytime...in the shadow of old diving helmets and other marine artifacts. You can sit by a window..indoors..and enjoy the view of boats..or you can get a table on the patio ..give your kids a little more space....a big fountain... More
