Dim Sum!

the dim sum here is good, not great. The shrimp sui mai is really good. Everything else seem acceptable although not particularly inventive.

This is a place with cart service, so you can better pace your eating, but not everything may get to you. It also seems like they will seat however many people arrive--some places only seat entire party. Har Gow are very nice. The shrimp aren't asked by cornstarch the wrappers are a touch on the thick side but weren't over... More

Dim sum is good here. The items are numerous and the quality is excellent. Mostly Chinese clientele and some local cognoscenti. This is the real deal. Items are served at the right temperature also. Parking was crowded despite two big lots but turnover is swift. We were there on Friday and it was a great dim sum meal.

We eat dim sum here more than anywhere else. it's not because it is so good, but because it's convenient, has a large seating capacity, and is usually acceptable in quality. Once the crowd size is large enough, they start bringing out a wider variety of items. I've been there when I've waited through the entire meal without once seeing... More

Our usual was closed today 12/28/14 so the four of us tried this one. Our wait was about twenty minutes and we were seated near front-centre section. We found a bigger selection of Dim Sum available than our usual place and some were as good, while others were better. We were not able to sample all that we wanted because... More

We went to this restaurant on Christmas Day - as is our custom back home in the Washington DC area... We waited in line for an hour to place an order for take out food -- sit down service was an hour plus wait -- and another 20 minutes for our take out order. The price was $75 to feed... More

Tried this restaurant on Nov. 30, 2014. Very good Dim Sum food. Restaurant was crowded on Thanksgiving weekend but reservation ahead of time helped us get seated right away. Difficult to order if you don't speak Chinese. Worth the visit if you crave for Dim Sum while in San Diego.

Was in San Diego on vacation and had been craving for Dim Sum and decided to give Jasmine a try based on it's reviews. Although Dim Sum in San Diego was not really highly rated I thought I'd give this a try. I had the regular items people would normally order for Dim Sum: Har gaw, Siu mai, Wontons, prawn... More

Jasmine's is the place to go at noon for Dim Sum. I have been there many times when in San Diego. It is a large restaurant and many Asians are eating there each time I go. Feel like I am in Hong Kong. They have a large menu and everything I have tried is authentic and tasty.

Dim Sum is hard to find just anywhere and good Dim Sum is even harder. Jasmine's is THE place to find really good Dim Sum in the San Diego area. We go there every time we are in the city to visit family which is not often enough! Everybody knows it's good and it gets crowded quickly. So go early... More
