Jasmine's is the place to go at noon for Dim Sum. I have been there many times when in San Diego. It is a large restaurant and many Asians are eating there each time I go. Feel like I am in Hong Kong. They have a large menu and everything I have tried is authentic and tasty.

Dim Sum is hard to find just anywhere and good Dim Sum is even harder. Jasmine's is THE place to find really good Dim Sum in the San Diego area. We go there every time we are in the city to visit family which is not often enough! Everybody knows it's good and it gets crowded quickly. So go early... More

this is the best Chinese restaurant in San Diego for Dim Sum in the afternoon and fresh seafoods for dinner. I love Dungeness crab when I visit US. The restaurant run out of the Dungeness crab and send someone to the market to find it is available. It is this kind of service that motivate me to write a review... More

Vacationing in San Diego and wanted to have dim sum. Since we had a big group, we figured Jasmine would be a good choice since it is spacious. The food is fine, nothing to rave about, but the service is terrible. There was a bug in my water and when we asked for another glass, there was no apology. When... More

There are other places I have been including Emerald and Pearl, and honestly I cannot say that Jasmine's is significantly better but it is our main place to go for dim sum. I do have to say that timing can be everything. I've come here nearly weekly for the last five years and sometimes you can come and the food... More

Dim Sum is a traditional mid day meal and a real taste adventure. The customers here are predominately Asian which attests to the quality and authenticity of the food. Be ready to have a parade of small food carts with a great variety of items to choose from. If you haven't tried this before ask lots of questions and don't... More

Dear Helayne, Congratulation on your new car purchase, and thank you and your family for supporting Jasmine for the past twenty years. On January 24, 2014, around noon, we ordered pork chops and fish from the menu. Both were substantially less than expected. The portions were small and taste was unacceptable. The pork chops were mostly bone. The fish was mostly batter. After complaining to the manager, we were told too bad. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Stay away.

We have been coming here for years and 90% of the time every thing is great. Get there after 11 AM for better selection, but before noon the beat the crowd. Parking can be a problem especially on the weekend. When busy 30-60 minute waits are normal. If you go when there is an event, i.e. a Dragon Dance, waits... More
