This is a tourist type location close to the convention area. Food is in my opinion overpriced for what you get. Our fish was like a fast food location. We sat outside which was nice. Don't expect much from a service standpoint, because servcie is not one of their things. more

I agree with some of the comments about the location being prime, between the maritime museum and the San Diego cruise ship terminal and a view of the bay. We visited Anthony's Fish Grotto for the first time last weekend and really enjoyed the fresh seafood. We ate inside the restaurant with the nice view of the bay. I ordered the Bay combo which consisted of salmon, scampi shrimp and a crab cake. The crab cake was the best I ever had. The whole meal was very good .... more

I would never eat an Anthony's restaurant because it is to expensive. But, ordering from the window and eating outside is a real treat.
