It had been great for the past 42 years. (once a year or more) The menu and the food seemed to have changed. Although the food was very good, the choice was not great and it seems the prices had changed

Absolutely live this place. They have the best fish and chips! We make it a point to come here when we are in San Diego. Try the fish and chips. Light crunch and super succulent fish! Yummy!

This is a repeat visit for us. Our meal was great. I had the salmon my husband had the shrimp and steak both meals were great. Portions were not over the top so no waste. Our drinks were over priced other then that it was great

We have eaten at Anthony's several times and have written a 4 star review previously. However over our last couple of times we have noticed that the food just isn't as fresh and or healthy. Fish should be but really what is presented is fried, buttered and battered. We had the oysters which were okay but not served with the... More

Excellent location on the pier in San Diego! Enjoyed appetizers and conversation with the locals while celebrating 20 years of marriage on our west coast trip.

Nothing here has changed in 45 years and I guess that is the good news. Why mess with good? The view is, of course, lovely. Staff is friendly and fast. Fried fish is good and served in the traditional style. Could the margaritas be a little more potent? Yeah. Could the soup be a little better seasoned? You bet. But this... More

We stopped in for lunch while sightseeing. We arrived before noon and secured a table by the window. . I was disappointed in my caesar salad with salmon - the dressing was rather tasteless. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful. View was fabulous. Not a a bad experience but don't expect great food.

This is one of the best places to eat fried clams, mac and cheese, and coleslaw outside watching the ships come into the harbor. Their house wine isn't bad either and it's served very quickly. We always make it a point to visit Anthony's at least once while in town.

We stopped here for a late dessert. Our waitress was extremely courteous and friendly. They have a sampler size of their chocolate mousse which was perfect treat. My husband had the chocolate mud pie which he felt was one of the best he has had.

I made last minute reservations for 6, and was pleasantly surprised that we were seated immediately. We had a beautiful view of the bay as the sun was setting. We all ordered something different, from a Salmon Reuben Sandwich, a Steak, a Shrimp and Crab Cocktail, to Clam Chowder in a Sourdough bowl. All was delicious and the service was... More
