Curious place. Ordered pork, when dish arrived it looked suspiciously like chicken. Questioned the waitress, who assured us it was pork, took a bite and it was chicken. When we questioned again the waitress said not sure she was vegan. The manager came over and thanked us for wasting a chicken dish by taking a bite - gave major attitude.... more

It is interesting to see the mixed reviews of this restaurant - I think it reflects the mixed experiences one might have here. My husband and I enjoy going to this reasturant for lunch every now and then- I think the service is great, as every time we have gone our waiter was very polite and courtous (and he remeberd us after our first visit). I had the worst experience I have ever had in any restaurant. The Manager is worse than the servers, and the entire evening was terrible. I Think its time for them to just give up and close. more

It's a shame there is an areana for individuals with very little, if any, common courtesy to attempt to express their frustration over being asked to consider someone other than themselves. Adams Avenue Grill was recomended to me by my San Diego host. He described it as his favorite neighborhhod restaurant and I can certainly see why. In the begining, I was a huge fan of this restaurant.
