Excellent place for luunch.

This place is a gem for a private lunch. Not quite downtown. Not quite suburbs. The menu is eclectic. Lots of choices. Well prepared. Desserts are all yummy. Some of the lunches come with dessert choices.

The food was good, but nothing memorable. We had carnitas & the soba noodle dish. They have a nice wine selection and yummy desserts, although not much variety. Our server was polite, but constantly in a hurry although there were only a total of three tables that evening, including ours.

I've been coming to Adams Avenue Grill for many years and it's always provided delicious food, great service and a delightful dining atmosphere in a friendly neighborhood setting. The chefs are well trained by owner and head chef Tim Klepeis, who trained at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. The food is creative and beautifully plated and... More

We brought our son to college and went to breakfast while he settled into his dorm. Location was so quiet I thought I missed it. Food and ambiance is excellent!

This is a part of San Diego full of unique neighborhood restaurants, and the Adams Avenue is just "nice". There's nothing bad about the place, but the food is just good, nothing special. With so much competition in this hip area, I would give it a try, but also try others.

Winter time meals are the heartiest at this place, which makes the best pot roast. Another local eatery.

We have family in San Diego, and they live near this great restaurant. So once we enjoyed it, we always ask to go back. Staff is great and cheerful. Menu is creative. Atmosphere is pleasant...it's everything a good restaurant should be. You'll find great entrees for anyone at this great little restaurant.

Been here several times, only problem is deciding whether you want breakfast or lunch as both are soooo good! Dinner is always super good. Service is wonderful, parking is easy, on the street. Used to work near here so now I have to come a bit further but so well worth it! Had the French toast today, creme broulle style, very... More

Stopped at this small family place with local friends before a day of sightseeing in San Diego. What a great surprise. Every employee is extremely friendly and every food item is fresh made. We actually decided to go back on our 2nd day in town, even though it was a drive across town. TIP: They make their own chorizo and... More

Excellent food and service. This restaurant is a jewel. Fabulous French Onion soup, Cobb salad and an incredible chocolate cake dessert with a Shamrock on top. I can honestly say that everything that came out of the kitchen looked scrumptious... Definitely somewhere I will return to!
