They do a nice job here! If you are in the mood to eat out, don't want to have to dress up and want some home cooked comfort type food - head to Adams Avenue Grill. A very diverse menu and beautiful presentation. I got the eggs caprese so two over easy eggs with polenta, fresh basil, tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella drizzled with balsamic reduction. Outstanding. My friend ordered the creme brulee soaked french toast with berry compote and fresh chantilly cream. His was also amazing!!

Not in your main tourist area, this neighborhood charmer rates a visit. Locals and business folks frequent the small restaurant. You have class in the service and ambiance and sass in the meals offered. They know their regulars, but treat newcomers like long last family. Breakfast and lunch overlap in time available - so for those that like breakfast at... More

Had breakfast at the grill this morning with a friend. The seating service was prompt and super friendly. We had a corner table which had a window and comfy pillows! Our server was very friendly and attentive but not overbearing. I had the Texas cinnamon french toast and my friend had the lavender infused french toast. Both meals were very... More

We have eaten at this Grill several times during visits to San Diego. We have never been disappointed, their food is consistently good. The Pot Roast is always a favorite. The prices are reasonable. It is off the tourist track, so it serves mostly locals.

We arrived fairly close to closing on a Friday night but were welcomed without a hint of reluctance. Service was friendly and just the right amount of attention. The carrot ginger soup was very good. The goat cheese fritters were enough for 3 or 4 people and the red pepper couli was the right accompaniment. I took home half of... More

I am so happy I found this gem in my neighborhood. Stopped by for breakfast and ordered the Lavender infused French Toast- and OMG I was in heaven! Will definitely be stopping by for lunch and dinner.

The last time I was there, I know I arrived at 1:58 and the restaurant closes at 2:00 Yet all I wanted was soup to go. As I told the waitress that is all I wanted the cook signal me that it was OK yet the waitress told me the kitchen was closed and she would not take the order.... More
