Excellent meal

Had a great meal here. Highly recommended for the service. Have the Waygu! We also enjoyed oysters, tuna tartare and charcuterie.

This is probably the best steakhouse I've ever tried in San Diego downtown. From ambiance to service to food to quality, it just totally hits the spot! My friend and I started out with some fresh oysters with lemon and salt for starters, wild boar sausage and pulpo for appetizers, fresh salad then splurged on a beautifully presented Wagyu steak... Spent an evening at Greystone and had a dining experience beyond compare. We had the pleasure of sampling multiple courses and every dish exceeded expectation. The wild boar sausage was spectacular, Brussels sprouts were a perfect balance of flavors, and the lamb ravioli blew the entire table away. Those were just our appetizers. The wagyu steak is a revelation. The... More

Rating as average because of the price vs quality of meal didn't seem to match. The service from Stephani was great. We had a big group and she was always around and helpful. The new menage appetizer was a little pricey but really good. The steak was good in size but taste was about average.

Visited Greystone as I read the reviews and I was certainly not disappointed, the service was excellent, menu was well presented and the choice was to a very high standard, when the steak arrived the presentation of the food was very pleasing to the eyes and the steak itself was one of the best I have ever tasted, you should... Highly recommend if you're looking for a great steak in a fine dining environment. Outdoor and indoor dining. We ate outside and enjoyed the people watching. Service outstanding.

Terrific, eclectic menu with everything from game and foie gras to 2 inch thick steaks. Attentive serviced. Extensive wine list but all high-priced bottles with only a few under $50.

Jan 23 I celebrated my birthday at Greystone and decided to use a gift certificate I had received. Sarah was our host and she took awesome care of us. We started off with a cocktail and appetizers, which I highly recommend the pull pork tacos and the brussels sprout...yummy!! We had dinner, pasta, shrimp, and steak (the steak was cooked... More

We ate at this steakhouse completely expecting to order regular steaks and sides. Instead we were enticed by the elk and buffalo dishes which were divine. Both dishes were perfectly cooked, tender meats with perfect sides - the risotto cake and cauli puree were delicious. I didn't know what to expect with elk...maybe lamby? It was like lamb but a... Nice heated terrace in the main street of Gaslamp quarter. Very good meat, side dishes and wine, but a little bit expansive...
