This venue was highly recommended by wait staff at the Convention Center where I was attending a meeting. Our overall experience was average at best. The starters were average. Crab cake, was good, but not remarkable, as was the calimari. The salads were ok, with the best feature of the house salad was the Stilton cheese. One major bonus was... More

Great steaks. I had the filet Oscar and it was outstanding. It was prepared exactly the way I liked it and you could cut it with a butter knife. The sides were also very good. I was with a group and had onion rings, French fries, and mushrooms. All were very good. Very good wine selection. The serive was just... More

Excellent food, great steak! Service, well above standard; very friendly staff. Crowded on Valentines Day, but the food was served fast.

We had an amazing time at Greystone. I am not big on steaks, but my boyfriend is. He said it was one of the best filet mignons he has ever had. I can appreciate some good seafood, and their stuffed sole did not disappoint, it has shrimp and carb inside and was served with mashed potatoes. Yum!

This is one of many in the gas lamp area and calls itself a steakhouse. What is really is a most sophisticated restaurant with a distinctly Italian touch but with a lot more. The service was first class the food excellent with an amazing wine list and great ambience. AND all this for a very reasonable price. The restaurant is... More

The lobster bisque I was promised a "bits" of lobster, I couldn't find any. It was very bland and not worth the price The elk chop was quite tasty although the gravy it was doused in was just ok. The herb mashed potato almost tasted packaged ( I imagine they were fresh?). Beautiful location but unfortunately really not worth the... More

We had our Christmas Dinner here in 2013. Great Choice! The atmosphere is a little of everything, historical building, a past time "theater" for "risky" showgirls :) but it is now a cross between elegant and comfortable. Great menu, with many choices, of course the steak was cooked to perfection! juicy, tender, flavorful, not overpowering. a bit pricy for us... More

I had a New York and it was very good - but a bit under-seasoned. The service was impeccable but the food just couldn't keep up. The prices are very, very high. Baked potato was a B. Wine list was very deep with a lot of price options, which was a life-saver for us.

We got a last minute table for 10 on Valentines Day. That probably should have been our first red flag. Our server highly recommended the buffalo filet, saying it was her favorite because of the flavor and tenderness. Both my husband and I followed her suggestion and were disappointed. Mine was over cooked and tasted gamey. My husbands temperature was... More

So wanted to love this. Nice seats right on the patio, overhead heaters were toasty. Chose this as The Wine Bank said they wouldn't charge us a corkage fee (based on them being Greystone's supplier). I had the lamb -nicely cooked. But the risotto bland, tasteless. Husband's filet mignon (a la Oscar) had an utterly flavorless sauce. The dessert gelato... More
