We love the unique atmosphere of the gaslamp district in downtown San Diego. We went to Greystone Steakhouse with friends and had a real good time with delicious food and a high standard of service. Not a basic restaurant, not basic prices either :) but definitely worth it!

The meal was excellent and the service was fantastic. The menu was a bit on the pricier side, however the ambiance made up for it. I would certainly return.

So a lesson in following your instincts and asking questions. My 10 year old daughter loves lobster, last day of vacation = why not. They bring her a 31/2 lb lobster, no joke. They charge us $85.00!!!!!! So if you are from the east coast, don't order east coast food on the west coast. Ironically most of the seafood here... More

The fillet minion was great and the mashed potatoes were great, but the overall price seemed a little high

We just happened by Greystone Steak House while wondering around the Gaslamp Quarter. It looked busy and pretty decent so we gave it a shot. The pretty lady on the doorstep might have helped with our choice too! We were seated in one of the outside tables, at the front of the restaurant. We didn't bother with starters and went... More

Food here was excellent. I opted for the Sea Bass over a steak and was extremely pleased. I ate at the bar and the service was very friendly. Nice decor as well!

San Diego on business and had seen the menu the night prior. Looked like a nice selection. We had a large group and many of us ordered the sea bass or the filet. Neither received good reviews. The sea bass was fishy and the steaks were average. With so many choices on Fifth Street I would recommend anything other than... More

Half the fun was rambling up the strip to get to the restaurant! Pretty nice decor, good food, was glad to see Bison on the menu, which I always order when it's available, good wine list, were there with a small group and the restaurant was helpful in getting us a nice table. Can't go wrong with this choice.
