What a way to end a day of meetings!

After a long day of meetings, this restaurant made me feel better! The food was delicious and plenteous! From lobster to steak to Kobe beef! Even though they were busy, the wait staff were very attentive to our needs.

We were looking at various restaurants and it seemed to get a decent rating. The woman at the door trying to convince us to eat there gave us a 1/2 price appetizer coupon which when we tried to use it was told free fried calamari, that's it. Kale/Caesar salad was fine. Fried calamari was actually quite good. Nicely spiced and... More

Forget about reviewing the food. I'd rather review the service because no matter how good the food is if the service is bad then the experience is bad. So I'm not sure what triggered the servers' sarcasm and rudeness. Perhaps it was that I asked to taste a wine before I ordered it and found that I didn't like it... More

In the heart of Gaslamp District this little beauty outshines. Very nice wait staff and everything we tried was superb. Steaks are aged 21 days, everything's organic, good wine list. We had the wild boar appetizer, 10 oz filet with bordelaise, baked potato loaded and asparagus. Everything was excellent. Molten chocolate cake with vanilla bean ice cream dessert. Very small... We were doing a circuit of the Gas Lamp Quarter (going from bar to bar for one drink sometimes two), and we went past this restaurant. The Maitre'd was out front with a huge welcoming smile. It was a very busy Upscale Steakhouse. But he invited us to come in and assured us the wait would not be long. We... More

Had a business dinner here one night and really had an amazing experience. Ordered the 8oz filet and it was prepared spectacularly. Steaks are al a carte so sides must be ordered separately. The brussel sprout side was flavorful and so were the French fries! The menu was quite pricy but for a steakhouse of this caliber the price was... More

Service was absolutely excellent. Philip, our server, was professional and charming. The steaks, which were highly recommended, were on the bland side. Not really salted for flavor or nice and buttery. The lobster mac & cheese was not very creamy and was a bit runny. However, the crème brûlée cheesecake was excellent! But being in the gaslamp district I think this... More
