I ordered the seafood paella it was a mountain of rice with a few small shells of fish. I had to eat some of my husbands meal, the Caribbean seafood platter in order to get full. AND we had garlic muscles for appetizer. The appetizer in garlic were th best thing, although I think they were frozen too. Staff wqs... More

Ate lunch at Joe's. Nice service, good salad and soup, reasonable price. Only complaint was the very loud music. But I would go there again.

Absolutely worst lobster I have ever eaten. The lobster daddy feast advertised a Maine lobster and crab. I am from New England and have cooked hundreds of lobsters in my life, I know how long it takes. Mine should have arrived in about 16 minutes. It was out in about 6. Hmmm... I wondered if I had gotten someone else's... More

As much as I love crab, they serve so much that I always have leftovers, which is normally a good thing but I didn't have a fridge in my hotel room. So I ordered the salmon instead. The service and food did not disappoint. Since we don't have a Joe's Crab Shack near where I live, I always try to... More

The place was kind of torn up when we went. The waitress said they were in the middle of a remodel. Half the tables were missing and there was nothing on the walls. I hope they finish soon, it was like dining in a construction zone. The food was good and we'll be back another time when they're done.

I was watching this place few days before decided to visit it. I spent my conference stay in SD in nearby Marriott so I had a good window view on this restaurant. Finally I was off. Place is definitely not glamorous - young people's and workers one I would say. Waiters were nice and friendly - helping a lot with... More

I had the Southern Coastal Catch, one of their specials, and it was almost inedible - fish was overdone and shrimp was too spicy. The crabcake was the only edible part of this meal. I stopped eating long before hubby, who got the KJ Steampot. He thought everything was good even though it was obvious that the seafood, particularly the... More

When we arrived we were greeted by a very "perky" friendly young lady. She greeted us, thanked us for coming, and led us to our table. By the time we got there, we were in a very good mood and were glad we braved the traffic to get there. My husband and I both had the Coconut Shrimp and it... More
