We always see commercials in Bakersfield on TV so we had to try it. A little expensive like all sea food restaurants are but worth every penny. From my sons Mac and cheese to my big daddy platter with two lobsters, clams, shrimp, corn on the Cobb and potatoes it was delicious.

The food is always delicious at Joe's! The service was great. We sampled a few of the fun drinks such as the Shark Bite and the Sailor Mai Tai. Both were worth the calories! We took home the plastic rendition of the Red Solo Cup used to serve our margarita too. You will pay for this dinner! Seafood, even on... More

We were taken here as the out of town guests but quickly realized even the regulars have an unpredictable good time here! From the funny inappropriate names written by the waitstaff in your bibs (mine was I love sharing crabs) to the dance breakdowns by the staff at random intervals, this was a great time. Pretty fairly priced for what... More

In town on business and took my daughter here for dinner while in town. Did not know what to expect. Friendly and fun staff was eager to explain all about the food service. We settled on the bucket of crab for two with a couple of margaritas. Plenty of food brought to the table pretty quickly. While I have had... More

My husband and I like to come to Joe's Crab Shack as it's pretty close to where we live. We like their crab buckets and steam pots. And it's always an experience to get a little messy!

Worked all day and returned to the Doubletree late without dinner. Joe's was welcoming, and all appetizers were half price after 9 pm. Excellent find.

I ordered the seafood paella it was a mountain of rice with a few small shells of fish. I had to eat some of my husbands meal, the Caribbean seafood platter in order to get full. AND we had garlic muscles for appetizer. The appetizer in garlic were th best thing, although I think they were frozen too. Staff wqs... More

Ate lunch at Joe's. Nice service, good salad and soup, reasonable price. Only complaint was the very loud music. But I would go there again.

Absolutely worst lobster I have ever eaten. The lobster daddy feast advertised a Maine lobster and crab. I am from New England and have cooked hundreds of lobsters in my life, I know how long it takes. Mine should have arrived in about 16 minutes. It was out in about 6. Hmmm... I wondered if I had gotten someone else's... More

As much as I love crab, they serve so much that I always have leftovers, which is normally a good thing but I didn't have a fridge in my hotel room. So I ordered the salmon instead. The service and food did not disappoint. Since we don't have a Joe's Crab Shack near where I live, I always try to... More
