At Isabel's Cantina, Chef Isabel Cruz fuses Latin and Asian cuisine into sensual and creative concoctions that are both remarkably addictive and surprisingly healthy. By incorporating ingredients from spicy pork carnitas to tofu, Chef Cruz creates a vegetarian's haven as well as a meat-lover's paradise. The exotic dining space is at once dramatic and hip, with accents such as an enormous 15-foot Buddha statue staring down at the dining room. Casual booths, stark lines, and warm colors create an atmosphere not found elsewhere in Pacific Beach, attracting crowds for brunch, lunch, and dinner.

Nice stop for a yummy meal

Good food, although I didn't try anything too adventurous. A little hard to find as there was not a sign in front of the restaurant but it was cozy and comfortable when we got in.

We usually go here for breakfast. The one time I went for lunch, I wasn't impressed. For breakfast, there is a nice selection of egg dishes as well as baked dishes. We particularly like the coconut french toast served with fruit and raspberry syrup. The coffee here is much better than at most breakfast places.

I had purchased a groupon and went with my daughter. It was more a place to go if you are in a group of friends or significant other. Dimmed lighting, cozy seating. I liked the atmosphere and the food was really good! Service was also good - the waiters seemed a little hectic, but all very nice!!

We showed up with a groupon on a very rainy Monday night. Drive slow otherwise you will miss this place. Inside is quite dark at night, but the vibe is cool. We had carnitas tacos, chips & guac, one of the bowls, and lettuce wraps. They all sound like the average offerings typical of a chain restaurant however, these are... More

This place is the bomb! Awesome ambiance and incredible fresh and healthy Mexican Asian fusion food. My chili Relleno was absolutely delicious and the raspberry mule- cocktail was to die for! I give this place 5 stars and highly recommend you try this place, I think you will be happy that you did! Enjoy!

One of the best restaurants in San Diego. Funny, because we walked by it for years and never knew what it was (instead of a sign out front they chose to have a giant dragon, which is great but not too informative haha). Once we ate here once, we were hooked. Fantastic food, very Bali-Thailand like ambiance, and romantic. Highly... More

This was our first time to Isabella's. The food, drinks and service were all great but the decor really lets the place down. It looks dark, depressing and dirty. The bathrooms were very dirty even at 9am and had clearly not been cleaned. Dead flowers in a vase, splashed mirror, filthy sinks and faucets. The baby changing table looked disgustingly... More

Whereas the façade looks decidedly homely, the food experience was exceptional with many breakfast lunch and dinner options in the Asian fusion style. We did come here on a few occasions and a big tick

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I love the fusion of Asian and Latin food and how fresh the meals taste and smell. I always leave happy and everyone I bring here loves it too. The only downside would be the parking since it is in the middle of Pacific Beach and right next to a row of small homes and... More

Came for brunch here the food is delicious and on point. The breakfast burrito with sage sausage was the best burrito I've had in San Diego. The kale mimosas were an unexpected treat and I almost felt healthy drinking one with my brunch. Check this place out.
