I met a group of friends at True Food Kitchen - not a place I would have picked, given that it was in a mall and was a huge restaurant. But the food was very tasty, the menu had many gluten-free options pointed out, and the service was just amazing. We were a hard group to deal with - we... More

Visited this restaurant after reading about the anti-inflammatory diet in a health magazine-I was very pleased with the service. The waiter knew the menu pretty well and was very assertive in his advise. I have visited this restaurant twice one in Phoenix and the second in San Diego. I was surprised by the variety of the food choices with plenty... More

Went to True Foods with family (who are regulars) for a birthday celebration. Space is nicely done with an nouveau industrial feel. Wide open restaurant. Friendly accomodating staff who serve the table using a team approach. Food choices were interesting combinations of fresh ingredients. Soda special was grapefruit cinnamon. I had the Teriyaki Brown Rice bowl with chicken. VERY fresh.... More

This is a chain restaurant, but it felt very fresh and local. After a day of flying and trip to the beach in the heat, we wanted something light. This did the trick. My sister who lives here comes here often, and she said it never disappoints. I loved my sea bass street tacos and medicine man soda. Try a... More

A group of us were staying at the convention center just behind the mall where True Foods Kitchen is. We struck out one evening in search of a decent meal after a week of not-so great convention food. I had seen True Foods on an early morning run, and even though closed for the night, it looked inviting, with it's... More

A freshly made, freshly different dining experience. Freshly tossed salads and healthfully prepared menu items made for a nice dining experience. In the Fashion Valley Mall, it is a casual dining place. Loved the quieter patio dining under heat lamps in February. Menu is moderately high priced and portions are moderately small, but great for the health-conscious. A willingness to... More

Located in the Fashion Valley upscale mall complex. The architecture and decor was nice but the food/beverages were over priced and average to sub par in quality and taste. I was hoping for more vegan options and better quality with all the hype. Went here with friends, including a chef, who was sorely disappointed with the quality of the food...he... More

We ate at the True Food Kitchen in the Fashion Valley Mall last December. I had the shaved chicken salad and it was the best salad I have ever eaten. Great service and everyone seemed happy.

We loved this restaurant, which is all natural and healthy food! It is located in the Fashion Valley mall next to Bloomingdales. The property is huge and they could put quite a few more tables in. Our waiter was most helpful, attentive and friendly. I had the Farm something salad and it was enough to share and delicious. Someone else... More
