Loved the Pho Tai

My husband was only able to be here in San Diego for the first 4 days of my month long adventure here. We ate here twice. There were many other little Pho places between my hotel on Hotel Circle and this place. We drove so far because not all of these little Pho places are created equal. This is... read more

Cafeteria atmosphere, ordered basic combo, and it came out fast in large quantity. Came with a large plate of very fresh basil, sprouts, and cilantro. Standard good quality sauces. Food wasn't spectacular in any way, but was a good value for the money. Best tip: order the meat on the side, and "cook" it separately in the broth.

Craving some vietnamese, we decided to try Pho Hoa and unfortunately were pretty disappointed. The flavours weren't there and there was no resemblance of authenticity. When you're in a western multicultural country with its plethora of ethnic food, you should be able to easily find a place that makes pho as if you were sitting on a street cart eating... More

Never would have tried this place without the Foursquare app, but the reviews there were spot on. Amazingly complex and delicious pho. Pro tip- add the meatballs to any order.

The quality of the food and the service was lower than we expected. We tried the restaurant because it had a five-star TripAdvisor rating. But I am giving it a three-star.

I've been searching for a good solid bowl of pho in san diego for a while now and I've finally found it. The soup is nice and beefy nit like other places where its too thin or sweet. I recommend the pho dac biet (special). You'll get a bunch of cuts of meats and tripe, a whole bowl of different... More

I went here with a friend since we were both craving for Pho.... it was ok, nothing special. I guess I'm a little picky since I can cook pho at home and like it my way. The coffee was very good though.

Growing up in san diego and having travel to many parts of the US as well as Vietnam. I will say that this is the best Pho in the whole US and is comparable to the stuff you get from Vietnam. I can go on and on about whats great about this place. Pricing, service, taste, you name it and... More

Absolutely fast services and the pho was wonderful. My family and I went there 5 mins before closing and they brought out our pho bowls in 5 mins. They only serve phos so don't be surprised if you wanted spring rolls or rice plates and its not available. I will surely be coming back here when I'm in San Diego.
