We found Snooze in the San Diego tourist guidebooks.... we were deciding between Snooze and another breakfast place down the road from it- but Snooze got our attention first and foremost because the description said it was the place locals frequented. We arrived midday- around noonish, and managed to park in the meter right in front of the restaurant. There... More

If you love breakfast, high tail it to the Hillcrest section north of downtown San Diego to Snooze. Their unique pancakes, including the Pineapple Upside Down version, are not to be missed. I tried a sinful egg dish; a large plate of hash browns mixed with veggies and bacon topped by egg(s). Yum!!! The service was attentive, friendly and fast.... More

Was looking for a good breakfast place while on vacation, checked out yelp, first place that came up was snooze. Perfect suggestion, we went there three times on a 6 day vacation, clearly we loved it. I had the breakfast pot pie, the pineapple upside down cakes, and the Juan breakfast tacos with barbacoa... I would recommend any of them.... More

As someone who could eat breakfast at anytime of the day I love Snooze. You have to expect to wait to be seated but for me it's totally worth it. I always get the 3 egg omelet and I'm never disappointed. The service is great and the food is always so yummy.

We were both surprised with the food. It got super reviews, but just didn't do it for us. It was ok, but just ok. He had the traditional breakfast, I had their version of a breakfasty pot pie. I liked the unique idea. Had a lot of black pepper and good veggies, but was just....OK. Would def not wait the... More

The staff at Snooze is incredibly friendly and helpful. We went close to closing time because I failed at checking the time before walking in, so we didn't have to wait for a table. Our waitress was amazing and gave great recommendations. I ended up getting an omelet and my friend got one of their egg benedicts and both were... More

Amazing! The OMG French Toast was outstanding. We went twice, and I ordered it both times. The pancakes were delicious, and my husbad thought the "Snooze Breakfast" buritto was fantastic. The buritto was so big, it was comical. Portions were very generous and the coffee was excellent. My daughter has nut allergies, and the staff was very knowledgeable and attentive... More

Somehow, the atmosphere at this restaurant reminds me of the cartoon, The Jetsons. The company I have in tow concurs. Needless to say, it strikes a tone of retro and whimsy while still being comfortable and fun. Food is the star here. Breakfast benedicts, glorious pancakes, breakfast sandwiches...the menu is a standout with its offerings and thus its long wait... More
