Amazing fresh fish and shrimp! Best part is it is cooked the way you want with your choice of seasoning and sides. Love the grilled shrimp! Casual place with a great patio for outside dining. Bring your own wine because there is no cork fee. Reasonably priced meals.

So happy to know about this place! We just enjoyed our first dinner here, and I can't believe I hadn't seen them before now. This is a casual dining spot with GREAT food! You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. I had Ono with two types of spices. It was wonderful! Great fish, great flavor.... More

The night we went they had at least 5 kinds of different oysters. I did not partake but they looked incredible. We had their signature fish tacos and they were delish. We also had the clam chowder which was good. If I went back, I would have more of the fish tacos. It was a fun lively place but suitable... More

I really enjoy the fish tacos here, but would mention that they are on the pricy side and so is the beer. But, the price does not keep me from coming, but often the crowds do. I guess that is the good news/bad news for this place. It is good enough to see large evening crowds and some serious lines... More

The Fish Shop is one of my favorite places to eat in San Diego. I have been coming here for years and they have never disappointed me. Thanks Fish Shop!

All the fish dishes are simple and yummy. My favorite is the Fish Taco - you must check them out. Spicy and sweet.

Visiting San Diego and in search of good seafood in relaxed environment, have the spot for you! Fresh fish grilled perfectly with awesome seaweed salad. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere, no frills, but great food. In the hub bub of PB. Order at the counter and pick a great table, and watch a big screen.

Absolutely love this place. It was my first time. Had the "plate" Mahi Mahi and it was delicious. Casual setting. You go up to order and they give you a number and bring your food to you. We brought our own wine (permitted) and had a blast. They have beer for sale inside and out.

When I go to a seafood restaurant the first thing I do to tell whether they serve fresh fish is the smell of the restaurant. This place doesn't smell fishy at all. Line is a bit long. And there's a wait... When you're in line You will choose what fish you like. then they will cook it for you however... More

These are the best. There is a variety of fish from which to choose. The lines are long but worth the wait.
