The Fish Shop is one of my favorite places to eat in San Diego. I have been coming here for years and they have never disappointed me. Thanks Fish Shop!

All the fish dishes are simple and yummy. My favorite is the Fish Taco - you must check them out. Spicy and sweet.

Visiting San Diego and in search of good seafood in relaxed environment, have the spot for you! Fresh fish grilled perfectly with awesome seaweed salad. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere, no frills, but great food. In the hub bub of PB. Order at the counter and pick a great table, and watch a big screen.

Absolutely love this place. It was my first time. Had the "plate" Mahi Mahi and it was delicious. Casual setting. You go up to order and they give you a number and bring your food to you. We brought our own wine (permitted) and had a blast. They have beer for sale inside and out.

When I go to a seafood restaurant the first thing I do to tell whether they serve fresh fish is the smell of the restaurant. This place doesn't smell fishy at all. Line is a bit long. And there's a wait... When you're in line You will choose what fish you like. then they will cook it for you however... More

These are the best. There is a variety of fish from which to choose. The lines are long but worth the wait.

Great restaurant, a little expensive but good food for the majority of the time, but the service is SO SLOW please add another register to help with the line. The line is so slow that people started calling in their order while in line and it became such a problem they posted signs saying not to do that anymore. For... More

Staying in San Diego, I'm trying to stick to a diet of Tacos because they are few and far between back home. Here you order at a counter then they give you a number and they bring your order to your table. The shop was packed and I waited in line about ten minutes to order, talked to the friendly... More

Seating is limited and we ended up going on a packed day, Oyster Thursday, when oysters are $1 from 4pm until they are out. This place ended up being worth the wait in line. The food was great and they had nice service.

The fish was delicious and fresh. I didn't care for eating at picnic tables. We got there just in time as the parking lot and lines were very long after we left. Oder at counter eat on paper plates a little too casual for the price.
