Not a lot of parking, we had to park across and down the street-not a big deal for us personally. Long wait to order, but order was taken quickly and efficiently. Most of the seating is outside, dogs on leash are allowed on the patio. Husband's fish tacos were good, pricey at 5.50 each. Lobster Lumpia was good, but outrageous... More

Great casual place to eat seafod. Loved sitting outside. You order inside and then they will bring the food out to you. You can sit outside or inside. You get to pick your fish, how you want it cooked, the seasoning. Nice to have so many choices. You get 2 sides and the fries were amazing and the coleslaw was... More

Hands down the best fish tacos in town. Great food and super friendly staff. Dogs are allowed in patio area and you can bring your own wine with no cork fee. Plan ahead as there may be a wait to dine at this very casual culinary delight!

Had a fun experience here numerous times for lunch or an early dinner. Never had to wait in line or any other inconveniences. Fish tacos are amazing. Fresh, fast, and a cute setting. Nice little outdoor bar. Next time I am in Pacific Beach, I will go back. Polite service and just great fresh food.

Went for lunch and got in before the crowd. I ordered their signature fish taco with mahi mahi and it was good. However I also got a blackened salmon taco which was outstanding and I consider the best fish taco ever. I don't know why but the combination of fresh fish, sauce, and corn taco hit the taste bud button.... More

This is a casual dining restaurant that serves very good fresh fish items. Salads, tacos, fish plates, soups and sashimi. Everything tastes great, but the real let down is the service. Because this is a popular place, the line gets very long, mainly because there is only one cashier and one cash register. On a Saturday evening, I have stood... More

After a bust on a whale-watching tour, we asked where we could have some good seafood at a reasonable price. PB Fish House was a unanimous suggestion! Boy, were they right! I had the shrimp basket; Sam had the fish basket. The shrimp serving was huge (9 shrimp and fries); the fish was just as big. Fish and shrimp were... More

I have tried the fish and ships, and 3 different sorts of tacos. They're all great. The coleslaw and onion rings are good, too. You can bring your own wine.

The calamari was great, seemed to have a corn-meal breading that I've not previously had. Fish taco was good. Had to go twice as the first time the line was out the door and the kids were too hungry to wait. I had the Hawaian Ono special. It was not evenly cooked and the thinner side of the filet was... The Fish Shop at Pacific Beach serves up great fresh fish and food for a very reasonable price. It's an "order at the counter" style with plastic plates and knives and forks, but has a nice outdoor patio area to eat, and the food is definitely worth it. If you're interested in really good seafood, give this place a try
