casual atmosphere and icy cold beer - food was good. Service was very good - It was right by our hotel so it made it simple to just walk there for a bite

Randy Jones, famous NL pitcher for San Diego Padres, actually comes to your table at times to chat while you share delicious meals. Everywhere you look there are sports trophies and memorabilia -- like signed photos, footballs, baseballs, jerseys, helmets, etc. baseball, football, basketball, you name it and it is probably in this place on display. Service is good and... More

We went for lunch and it was relatively quiet for a sports bar. There was music, and muted TVs, but the noise level was tolerable. I'm sure the evenings are different. We found the food quite good - had the burgers and chips. The chips were wonderful. Our server was wonderful. We had a groupon and they were totally accommodating... More

Lunch was okay, nothing exciting. I was with five friends, and no one remarked about the food, good or bad. My grilled chicken breast sandwich came with home-made potato chips, served warm, which were good. But at $11, it’s a bit pricy for a sandwich and chips. Service was good, with quick refills on the iced tea and Arnold Palmer... More

I watched SD State-Boise St. basketball game on 2/5/14 with the SDSU Business Alumni group. My order of hot wings only had 7 wings. Mgr Mark weighed 4 packages of wings for me. 3 were less than 1 lb. at 15.5 oz. He did not offer to make this right by providing more wings or apologizing. Instead, he made matters... More

Had the mixed greens salad and coconut shrimp--delicious! And the servers were very accommodating, considering that a large party of 12 sat down next to me about 10 minutes after I arrived.

Had a quick dinner here while staying at the Doubletree next door. The food was good and it seemed like a fun place to watch a game.

W d went here 2 of the 4 nights we were in San Deigo. Jessyka handled us the second night, and despite being there for 12 hours she was pleasant and attentive. Food is terrific, great place to watch a game, with TONS of parking. Located right across the street from the San Diego trolley, and adjacent to the Doubletree... More

About what you expect for a sports bar. We had an over cooked steak, and over cooked burger, some pretty good pulled pork and good drinks. The least they could do is grill the burger buns. The white bread buns were so awful, I just didn't eat them. But the place was packed and we had a good time anyway.

Sorry Randy was a great pitcher but his restaurant is a balk. Four of us ate there and all had something different and only one person was a little ok with their food. Randy needs to get off the bench and get in the game and maybe try some of his food to taste what he's serving up.
