Simple, Delicious and full of flavour.

A nice, low lit restaurant, relaxed and casual. Good range of beers, excellent, quick service. We shared the tuna civiche, absolutely delicious with a zing and a kick. I had the chicken meatballs, simple and flaws would show up easily but rosemary flavour was spectacular. A winner!

Took a client to dinner here, really enjoyed it. Atmosphere trendy but comfortable, ambiance upscale but comfortable. We had bruscheta as app - really exceptional. Bbq pork tacos excellent (and a bit messy to eat). Hamburger with cheese exceptional, really good beef. Only knock: wine by glass expensive for tiny servings. Regardless, really nice meal and experience.

Great casual place to eat before theater. Good food and service, parking is not an issue. Eating in the patio was very nice.

Bankers Hill is a cozy neighborhood restaurant with a very cool vibe. We almost didn't get here (we had stopped by the day before, but were rudely informed that they didn't open until 5), but fate led us back the next night and we had an enjoyable dinner. The service was a bit slow - especially getting drinks from the... More

Not a huge beer selection, but nice San Diego variety. Great variety of food choices, including vegetarian options. Don't miss the truffle fries, and burger fans will LOVE the BH burger.

Every time my wife and I come to San Diego we try and eat here if possible! They change the menu often and everything we have had has been fantastic -- various salads, meat dishes and desserts! NIce atmosphere -- but it can get real crowded so get reservations! You will love it!

Banker's Hill restaurant week was amazing. A three course meal for $30 per person. There was a lot to chose from on the menu and all included in the $30 three course meal. The service was also amazing. Our waiter was very helpful. We really trusted his opinion on what to chose and we were not disappointed. Appetizers: I got... More

Excellent food. Menu changes often. California fresh and eclectic. Good wine list. Quite noisy, however.

When visiting San Diego, a resident friend took me to dinner at this restaurant. We had a great meal seated outside in a room under the stars. Each of our appetizers, main courses and desserts was excellent. The fig bruschetta was phenomenal! I had an orange and roasted beet salad (a staple on their seasonal changing menu) that was delightful.... More

We hosted a private business event for about 100 people at this restaurant. The food was absolutely spectacular and the service was fantastic. The restaurant is slightly away from the downtown area, which was very appealing for me and added to the experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to going there again.
