Great Place

My husband and I stopped by for brunch. The truffle fries were to die for and the Meyer lemon bruschetta was amazing. I thought the deviled egg in the Bloody Mary was a little weird, but I pulled it out and it tasted great. I tried the "stalker" cocktail. It was sweet and spicy... So unique... read more

I was hearing a lot of good things about Bankers Hill so I made sure to go in and check them out during my short stay in SD. I came away incredibly impressed with not only the quality of their food, but the service I received. The Meyer Lemon and Fennel Marmalade Bruschetta was absolutely amazing. Can't wait to go... I asked for Grinch fried and for stone additional shipping sauce which was an 1/8 cup more than what came with the fries, and she told me that I world have to pay $3.00 more for the extra sauce for the fries. This place socks. The service is the worst

I don't know about the rest of you, but I get extreme anxiety before I get on an airplane. My boyfriend and I stopped in Bankers Hill before our flight so I could get a cocktail, and it was love at first sip. I ordered their brand-new cocktail, the Balboa Constrictor, which is made with white rum, maraschino liqueur, ancho... More

Starting with the hostess, she might have had a personal problem and seemed sad when she sat us and didn't ask me about my reservation or say anything to us. Our waitress DID SEEM nice and cheerful but never ordered our appetizer or checked on us during our meal. We left and nobody said thanks for coming or anything all... More

Suffering through a flight delay in the San Diego airport, I decided to find food. The line were long at the burger places, and I wanted something better, anyway. I found really good food, excellent friendly service (Lindsay) and a surprising variety of bourbon choices at the bar. If you are looking for a drink or a good meal in... More

My husband and I visited this restaurant based on the positive Trip Advisor reviews. It was not close to where we stayed. We dined before walking into Balboa park to see a show at the Old Globe theatre (walk took about 20 minutes). We were really impressed. We arrived in time to partake in some of the happy hour food... Found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. Had some good reviews and decided to try it. Although we had to take a cab from the Hyatt it was worth the trip. The food was delicious and the decor different. Had trouble finding our way in with unusual doors. The food was delicious and our server was very attentive. The only reason... More
