Check it out for happy hour when you can feast of tasty portions while you sip your cocktail. Great seating outside with the wall of succulents. The staff is genuinely friendly. You'll want to return to keep sampling the menu of enticing choices.

Family of three for brunch on a Sunday. Easy to get a table without a reservation although there was plenty of business. Friendly service and vintage wood adorned open-air dining room. This was a very rare occasion in San Diego when open air was actually not a good thing due to high humidity and temperature. Solid brunch menu with a... More

and then come back here to thank me for the drink recommendation. I actually go to BH for the food - the Grouper and the pork tacos are musts. Oh, and the truffle fries! Yummmmmmmy.

One of my can't miss spots in San Diego! The location is very convenient, off the 5 South (Exit 17 - Front St.) and very close to the airport. I had my favorite, the BBQ Braised Pork Tacos. As a self proclaimed Mexican food connoisseur, these are some of my favorite tacos in Southern California! "Pepper jack cheese, avocado-tomato salsa,... More

A friend and I stopped in for something small that we could share. I was delighted to see that my most favorite food, deviled eggs, was on the menu. We ordered the eggs with anticipation and also got a side of lemon crisps (we heard they were to die for). They eggs were egg-cellent!! The creaminess of the eggs and... More

I stopped by Bankers Hill with several of my friends while visiting San Diego for the weekend. Although this was my first time at Bankers Hill, it is now deemed my favorite spot to a relaxing, unique, and delecious meal in SD. The Black Angus Bistro Tenders were absolutly heavenly, and were cooked to perfection. I cannot say enough about... More

We went to Banker's Hill early in the evening for a family dinner. The food was good--I was dubious about ordering the truffle fires as an appetizer, but they were delicious; we cleaned the plate. The vegetarian ravioli was excellent, and everyone was happy with their meal. Service was excellent-helpful but not intrusive, and the manager came over at one... More

My husband and I stopped by for brunch. The truffle fries were to die for and the Meyer lemon bruschetta was amazing. I thought the deviled egg in the Bloody Mary was a little weird, but I pulled it out and it tasted great. I tried the "stalker" cocktail. It was sweet and spicy... So unique. Great service and decor.... More

I was hearing a lot of good things about Bankers Hill so I made sure to go in and check them out during my short stay in SD. I came away incredibly impressed with not only the quality of their food, but the service I received. The Meyer Lemon and Fennel Marmalade Bruschetta was absolutely amazing. Can't wait to go... I asked for Grinch fried and for stone additional shipping sauce which was an 1/8 cup more than what came with the fries, and she told me that I world have to pay $3.00 more for the extra sauce for the fries. This place socks. The service is the worst
