Always Great

Always a great meal! Wonderful presentation, tastes great, and priced right. The Sangria is incredible. And, the servers have an incredible sense of kindness for their customers...

The curbside patio and light-fare menu attracted me to this restaurant. It has that farm-to-table, organic vibe that's so popular. I asked if I could sit outside and found myself a table on the far end of the patio. For the first 20 minutes I waited for someone to acknowledge that I was even there. No water, no hellos, nothing.... More

Went with friends for breakfast, definitely wasn't to my liking. If you like a relatively normal breakfast, then this isn't the place for you. Most "breakfast" menu items quite rich and elaborate, and more conventional and plain breakfast items not really available. Perhaps more suited to a very late breakfast or brunch I elected to go for just eggs and... More

Cafe 21 is a great place for a meal. Incredible variety, and the prices are pretty good. It has good ambiance, good service and good food. I recommend this place to travelers if you like casual, but delicious dining. I live in San Diego, but have eaten here (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) with friends at times, and at other times... Went to Café 21 for lunch. This café has a very nice shady outdoor eating area along the sidewalk. I had the chicken pesto sandwich with homemade potato chips. Both were very good. The service was excellent. They also provide purse trees to keep your purse off of the concrete.

$4 Gourmet Happy Hours appetizers (The best local winebar) that include Steak skewers, Chicken skewers, Avocado Fries, salad, molton chocolate cake, to name a few. I love their breakfast too, as they do omelets in cast iron skillets. The food is gourmet, and damn good. Service is remarkable as they often greet their patrons by name (that personal). Great for... Although downtown San Diego leaves a lot to be desired, this place was a fabulous find for two foodies. We began our meal with the veggie fries, which were basically tempura battered assorted vegetables but man were they good. Not greasy at all and the sauces really made the dish! I had the curried scallops for my main course and... More

The breakfast was delicious. Had the strawberry crepes they were to die for. The Orange juice was freshly squeezed.

Very nice place to have a lunch or dinner. I love the decoration. They have a small yard in front. My favorite table is that one with vine trellis above, very romantic in the evening with the candles. The food is delicious. You can try Turkish dishes like kufte or cheese fondue.
