When the description of this quirky spot says "eclectic" it's dead on. Really interesting food choices, some different than I've tried elsewhere (fried avocado, mushroom and eggplant "fries" yummm!). I got a chicken dish as an entree which was very good but my true delight was in the crepe side my family shared. Another highlight: flights! I love doing drink... More

We decided to eat at Cafe 21 and walked from our hotel Pacific Terrace in Pacific Beach. Cafe 21 was a recommendation from the hotel. We were not disappointed. The cafe, which is below a hotel, is located on the boardwalk is very modern and trendy. The service was wonderful and their food was delicious. We had a hummus appetizer,... More

If you enjoy a great atmosphere, great explosions in your mouth, this is it. The chef knows culinary arts. His creations are never the same. The menu changes daily. All fresh ingredients.

Just loved this place so much that we went back for a second visit. From the décor (re-claimed urban with vintage twists) to the fresh and zesty menu this café is such a fun place to be. We choose the strawberry salad, lamb omelette, raspberry lemonades, carrot and ginger juice...all delicious. The Saturday brunch crowd gave the place a great... More

One of my favorite places, mostly go for breakfast, try dinner couple weeks ago and love it, must visit for happy hour, $4 delish tapas and sangria. Organic local seasonal food. Service is great friendly and cute.

This is the review for the original Cafe 21 - they also have a newer location in downtown, which is also excellent, and perhaps even better since they have a wider cuisine selection there. Cafe 21 offers a blend of American, Azerbaijani and Turkish cuisines, with good lounge music, availability of outdoor seating (not in the downtown location, though), very... More

I went here for brunch with my friends on our first morning in San Diego. the servers were very friendly. We changed our table twice because of the sun and the servers did not mind at all. The food was magnificent. the Tiramisu pancake is one of their most famous dishes. I also recommend the omelet served goat meat and... More

On a long layover in San Diego a dear friend picked up Charming Bride and myself from the airport and took us to breakfast at Cafe21. Cafe21 is a short drive from the airport, and made for more casual talking than driving on our layover. There was some minor road construction in the area, but it was not any impact... More
