Crossed the street to grab a coffee here while my wife shopped at Ross. Breakfast crepe looked appealing so I gave it a go and am I ever glad I did. The crepe was huge, stuffed with cheese, eggs and ham and seasoned perfectly. Cheap at only $5.25. Was disappointed with my Americano though. It looked splendid with a dark... More

All three Elixir Espresso Bars in the San Diego area (Downtown, La Jolla and Escondido) serve that so hard to find excellent espresso you get in Italy !

This place is actually a kiosk in the UTC mall as well as a downtown brick and mortar coffee shop on C street. The crepes are very good but the coffee is suberb. I was excited to try elixir bar b/c I read good reviews and it was close to our hotel; however, we quickly decided to take our coffee & go instead of sitting on the street as the neighborhood was not so nice. If Elixir were a few blocks over, I think they would do an even better business.

They are known in town for their Crepes (fruits, nutella, breakfast with eggs and other options are available. It is not a big place, but there are a few chairs to sit and enjoy your coffee. Baristas know how to do a good... More

They only serve couple of variations of crapes (savory and sweet), several smoothies and some sweets. They do server very good coffee though - probably the best in the area. Virtually no sitting inside but they have several tables outside. However, if you don't need fancy settings or huge selection but just want a quick, TASTY and inexpensive breakfast -... More
