Good food but they don't take reservations!

My friends and I arrived around 4:30pm to be sure to get a table. When we left around 6:00pm, the place was mobbed with people trying to get in. This was at the Point Loma Bo Beau; there is another in La Mesa, CA which does take reservations. Go there instead.

We've eaten here three times. The first time, the food and service were both exceptional and we couldn't wait to come back. The next visit was spotty... the pizza was good, but the brussel sprouts were overcooked and served late. And, there were flies everywhere, which was a little gross and annoying. Our third visit was just plain bad. The... More

The only negative is the size and no reservation policy. So the wait can be long BUT well worth it! Love everything that comes out of the kitchen!

A little French Bistro with all the charm and warmth and deliciousness of any we have been to in France. We loved it. We each had a different entree and all were well-prepared and presented beautifully. The service was terrific. We will definitely go back.

We have eaten at a few of the Cohn Group restaurants and Bo beau's is one of our favorites. Great vibe and even better food!

Good food, nice atmosphere, very good service. Sangria to start along with the often mentioned Brussels sprouts that are out if this world. My wife's duck and my mussels were prepared well. Come try the meal yourself.

Great amazing food and enjoyed the decor of the place. Our server was really knowledgeable of wine and pairing it with the right meal. The Brussels sprouts are my favorite. The only downside is the long-wait, also our server skipped us twice with two different parties of two even though we were right there. Front of the house needs work,... More

We've gone here so far both times we've visited San Diego. Once without kids and once with. Both times it was such a great experience! There's not much for the kids to have but my 11 year old loved the mac and cheese and I fooled our 6 year old into the chorizo flat bread. She's a bit picky but... More

Wow! The food here is awesome. We had the moules and frites and the Brussels sprouts to start. Both were divine. Then we had the pork ribeye. Best pork I have ever had and it was topped with bourbon peaches! The lobster risotto was excellent and the Fettucine with duck confit was stellar as well. There was not a single... More

The atmosphere was as expected, the was really good. Only thing that stops me from giving this a 5 star review is their lack of taking reservations. We called and tried to get reservations and were told they didn't take them. We had a party of 6 and were told we would be on the wait list. We showed up... More
