I wanted to have a special dinner to celebrate my wife;s birthday. i called in advance and talk to Luna, the manager. She informed me that she would do to her best to accommodate my request of arriving at a certain hour, since we were traveling. When we arrive the date of the celebration, I mentioned my name and she... More

Went to BoBeau for a family birthday- loved the French Country feel. The service was excellent once we were seated (very popular & crowded, but worth the wait) and the food was incredible! I don't usually care for brussel sprouts, but their appetizer is amazing & they sell the baslamic marinade they use. The pistachio crusted salmon was sooo delicious,... More

We went with family last weekend, and really enjoyed this place. The inside is like a country inn, with fireplace in the main dining room and a bar that is cozy. They had a French wine flight special, which was fun to try, and the food was top-notch. Kind of a French country meets California. The crispy Brussels sprouts are... More

I love this place!! What a gem, almost hard to write another awesome review, but the secret is out! There's no keeping this place to myself! It's like you took a little bit of France and placed it in san diego. Complete with charming atmosphere, and amazing food! Love the quaintness, and the outdoor patio! Very romantic! They do not... We went to BO Beau for restaurant week. We called ahead and they predicted a 1 1/2 to 2 hour wait. We showed up after 1 hr 45 min and we still had to wait 30-40 minutes. Try to go at not peak hours! Escargots and corn bisque were outstanding starters. All the entrees my group tried was great in... More

Another great little out of the way placed in Ocean Beach(OB) San Diego California. Great service, great atmosphere and of course tremendous food. The Brussel sprouts are over the top amazing and incredible...fight the urge to pass on them and just get them, even if you don't like brussel sprouts. These will change your mind. I had a brined pork... More

Over Christmas vacation in San Diego two of the best (amateur) food critics I know recommended Bo Beau to me. My wife and I had a wonderful dinner. We cannot wait to get back to San Diego for a return visit. We only had appetizers, all of which were fabulous. Our excellent server recommended that we share a one-half order... More

It took two tries to get a seat in this restaurant but it was worth the wait. We ate there a few weeks ago so i'm a little fuzzy on all we ate but I had a chicken dish that the server recommended and it was just awesome! My friend's dish was excellent as well but I can't remember what... More

No reservations, but call in ahead with your name and party size or just show up and get on the list. I think this is just great as we were seated pretty quick. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu! They even have a small scale 'Locks of Love' gate.
