Excellent French bistro food

Was visiting San Diego on business with my girlfriend. We both loved this place so much, that when my daughter and friend came up for a day trip the next day we went back. The stand out meals were the brown butter seared scallops, the shrimp w/ avocado & lime flat bread. But there wasn't anything we shared that we... More

Glad we found Bo Beau's! The seven of us were offered seating outside in a charming, rustic setting near the fireplace....perfect! ERIC, our server, was fantastic! The brussel sprouts appetizer is the best! I like my steak done and Eric had no problem pleasing me; the ribeye was perfect. My husband said the lamb was just as good. Eric was... More

Cosy European seating with indoor/outdoor options. Rustic ambience, good service, nice selection of wines, and very inexpensive. A few items we had were excellent and a few, okay. I appreciated the commitment to support local produce in their dishes. I am not sure I felt the level of enthusiasm for the food others have offered, but against the price was... More

We've eaten here several times and it's now on our "must list" for friends who love good food and are picky about great service. (i.e. our foodie friends) While everything here is great, you have got to try the Brussels Sprouts! They are OMG good! The flat bread boards and entrees are also just as wonderful. So.....The bad news? Be... More

From the outside this restaurant doesn't look like much, In fact I would have driven right past without seeing it. We were meeting friends to celebrate a Birthday, so knew where I was headed. Stepping inside is a completely different store. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and a great patio for dining outdoors. The service is outstanding and the... More

A European experience. Everyone loved their food and we are four foodies - and two live in France. I am trying to copy their duck confit with roasted mushrooms to make at home across the country - it was one of the best things I've ever tasted. I have scoured the internet for such a recipe. Great service. We were... More
