I was craving good sushi and came to Azuki with two friends. The sushi was among the best I have had - fresh and very tasty. I had a mix of nigiri and rolls and everything was exceptional. I don't think you can go wrong here. One of the group ordered soba with shrimp tempura, which was also good. Sit... More

After reading all the reviews, I decided to try this place before an event at the San Diego Civic Theatre I was attending. I liked that I could make online reservations. Upon arrival, we were seated in the back of the restaurant. The setting is what you would expect to be a Japanese house. There is plush booth seating on... More

r u kidding me? Roll and Honeymoon Oyster are delicious and unfortunately, they are a little expensive too otherwise I would go there at least once a week :) Their cocktails are pretty good as well. I tried Mongo Majito and Lychee Saketini and liked them both. To be honest I wasn't impressed with their Sushi(Nigiri) as I had way... More

We were in town for the weekend and made it to Azuki for dinner one night- fabulous! We went on a Sunday night and made reservations, but it turned out we probably didn't need them, there were a few open tables although it was plenty busy. Eat on the patio for a nice relaxing atmosphere. It is in a quiet... More

A dear friend who lives in San Diego recommended that we have dinner here ... I am so glad that I had the opportunity to dine at Azuki ... the fish was so fresh, the rolls were amazing. The front area is inviting and friendly, the back area was both intimate and family friendly. The atmosphere and staff is very... More

The menu ingredients are beyond scope for more than the majority of sushi restaurants with Japanese items unlikely seen in your hometown sushi spot. It's not overwhelming with menu options but rather an invitation to explore fine seafood. Everything served and plated is on a different level. Of course you pay for it too. So let's just accept that. But... More

Azuki was recommended by a friend who is sushi addicted as I am. Was not disappointed at all! The sushi was great and fresh! The staff is 5 stars - always smiling and helpful. The sushi chef was right in front of us (we were at the bar) and from time to time would speak with us for a while... More

Traveling from Boston, I think this is the best sushi I ever had. Fishes are fresh, tender and creative. Often many sushi restaurants tended to overly decorate their environment and foods. This one knows how to preserve the nature of the fishes. The female host really helped to make this family reunion worthwhile. THANKS!

So close to 5 stars. And maybe it is, but I've only had the opportunity to have lunch here. I ordered the sushi lunch special. Everything was very fresh and very tasty. Generous portions of fish, good service, and at a very good price. It's a small, nice, casual place in a normal neighborhood, close to the airport. I guess... More

This place is off the beaten path a bit but worth the search. The fish is among the best in San Diego. While it is a little pricier than some of the Gas Lamp places, the fish is noticeably better. They do have a happy hour which is fairly a bargain. The quality makes up for it though, and is... More
