Azuki was recommended by a friend who is sushi addicted as I am. Was not disappointed at all! The sushi was great and fresh! The staff is 5 stars - always smiling and helpful. The sushi chef was right in front of us (we were at the bar) and from time to time would speak with us for a while... More

Traveling from Boston, I think this is the best sushi I ever had. Fishes are fresh, tender and creative. Often many sushi restaurants tended to overly decorate their environment and foods. This one knows how to preserve the nature of the fishes. The female host really helped to make this family reunion worthwhile. THANKS!

So close to 5 stars. And maybe it is, but I've only had the opportunity to have lunch here. I ordered the sushi lunch special. Everything was very fresh and very tasty. Generous portions of fish, good service, and at a very good price. It's a small, nice, casual place in a normal neighborhood, close to the airport. I guess... More

This place is off the beaten path a bit but worth the search. The fish is among the best in San Diego. While it is a little pricier than some of the Gas Lamp places, the fish is noticeably better. They do have a happy hour which is fairly a bargain. The quality makes up for it though, and is... More

Salads and Teriyaki chicken were not so good, but salmon rolls and dragon rolls are very tasty. Also, It isn't too expensive.

Azuki offered a good range of sushi and sashimi of which their bluefin tuna was absolutely delicious. You don't gunk that up with rice. Their selection is what you should expect in a higher end sushi joint. Not much tempura and about 6 specialty rolls of which their spicy scallop and caterpillar roll were the best and with respect to... More

We found this sushi place on Tripadvisor and I can only reiterate what all the others said before: Probably the best sushi in this area ! We went in the middle of the week, without a reservation and got a table right away, although the restaurant was full when we left. It is in a more residential area, but well... More

The sushi here is so fresh and everything is just so delicious! I had a cocktail which was amazing. A miss of sake and grapefruit I believe. I loved all the rolls that I had here as well as any of the sushi with ponzu sauce. The sushi just melts in your mouth. The hand rolls are amazing as well.... More

The sushi are awesome! Also liked the fried calamari "legs", delish! The service could be a little faster, but no big deal. Definitely a great place overall.
