We got great vibes from the beginning! The hostess Jordan, was so friendly! Restaurant has lot's of room. We had one the finest Sushi meals ever. Great presentations, great food and great service. Simply put. Go there if you like Japanese food.

If you love sushi, do not miss this place! I love rolls, and there were SO many incredible options outside of the normal ones that you see at every sushi restaurant. We ordered tons of things to share so that we could sample as many as possible. Get the garlic edamame. You will not be sorry.

Fresh and inventive sushi with a nice ambiance and good wines. We tried the standard sushi which included 12 pieces of tuna, salmon, albacore, and yellow tail and it was great and plenty to eat since the portions are large. We also tried the ahi poki - tuna sashimi with Hawaiian sea salt and sesame oil and it was delightful.... More

We are fairly picky about our sushi and this restaurant did not disappoint. We sat at the sushi bar and were catered to by one of the sushi chefs. It is always fun when you can interact with a sushi chef. Our sashimi special of various kinds of salmon was interesting and delicious, all explained by the chef. Next we... More

This is definitely the best sushi I've had in years. Everything we tried was excellent. I love sushi and have had it in many different parts of US, Latin America and Europe and this is probably the best second only to Morimoto in Philly

Azuki Sushi is a top flight sushi lounge and restaurant, serving the freshest fare. On a recent trip during San Diego Restaurant Week, we ordered from their special Restaurant Week menu, the happy hour menu and their dinner menu. The $40 three course restaurant week menu included their amazing miso soup with king crab and clams, which came with about... More

We went to Azuki to celebrate my husband's birthday while we were visiting San Diego. We have literally had sushi all over the world and we have NEVER HAD SUSHI THIS GOOD!!!!!! We started with an appetizer of tempura soft-shell crab- crispy and delicious! Our rolls were the "R U Kidding Me?" Roll and the King Crab Roll. Words can... More

I don't like salmon, but the love of risotto overpowered my dislike of the fish and I ordered the salmon risotto off of the lunch menu. The dish came with a mound of risotto topped with a small amount of sautéed onions and fresh sprouts. A creamy shiitake sauce was on top of and puddled around the plate. A rectangular... More

This restaurant is off the charts from cool decor...right out of the water freshness...inovative dishes....and impeccable service!!!! Favorites are Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna - Honeymon Oyster with uni, Ikura, quail egg, tobiko, and Ponzu - The Salmon Sampler - The Sunshine Roll with Black Tiger Prawns, Tempura Green Onion, topped with Salmon and Avocado - the Adventurous Sampler with... I love sushi rolls, so this review will be focused on the three types we tried at Azuki! r u kidding me? roll I saw this roll being served to others when I entered, and immediately knew I wanted it. Its not just a sushi roll - there's a mountain of fried leeks & onions piled up high. The presentation... More
