One of the best Sushi restaurants

I love Sushi and have tried many different places in many different cities ( Scottsdale, NY, Paris, Seattle... ) but I always end up with the same conclusion that Azuki has the best Specialty Sushi rolls. Nice restaurant, good sushi and sashimi. Don't bother with dessert from here, walk up the street to Extraordinary Desserts instead.

My wife and I ate at Azuki on a recent trip to San Diego and it quickly climbed to the top of our favorites list. It's located away from the touristy areas and is a bit quiet and unassuming from the street. We were seated in the section up the stairs and in the back. The food was amazing, especially... More

Yep, just meh. The good: The atmosphere was intimate and comfortable. The good: The waitress was nice and knowledgeable. The good: Crispy rice. The bad: We put our name in to be called when a table opened up, they never called. We came back on our own and there were multiple tables open. The bad: Miso soup was room temperature,... More

I passed by here walking and I love little restaurants. This place gets packed! Go early. I sat at the sushi bar. They have HH. Food and drinks. Sushi was generous and fresh.

The best place to have sushi in the Gaslamp district. The chefs signature rolls are a must, briljant combination and very balanced!

We got great vibes from the beginning! The hostess Jordan, was so friendly! Restaurant has lot's of room. We had one the finest Sushi meals ever. Great presentations, great food and great service. Simply put. Go there if you like Japanese food.

If you love sushi, do not miss this place! I love rolls, and there were SO many incredible options outside of the normal ones that you see at every sushi restaurant. We ordered tons of things to share so that we could sample as many as possible. Get the garlic edamame. You will not be sorry.

Fresh and inventive sushi with a nice ambiance and good wines. We tried the standard sushi which included 12 pieces of tuna, salmon, albacore, and yellow tail and it was great and plenty to eat since the portions are large. We also tried the ahi poki - tuna sashimi with Hawaiian sea salt and sesame oil and it was delightful.... More

We are fairly picky about our sushi and this restaurant did not disappoint. We sat at the sushi bar and were catered to by one of the sushi chefs. It is always fun when you can interact with a sushi chef. Our sashimi special of various kinds of salmon was interesting and delicious, all explained by the chef. Next we... More
