My husband and I were walking along the boardwalk and decided to eat at Roy's because of the view that looks over the marina and harbor. The view was lovely, the restaurant was lovely, the service was lovely. In my opinion the food was not as lovely as I expected it to be. For the price, keep walking.

Our last dinner during our trip to San Diego was at Roy's. We enjoyed the harbor view from the outdoor patio. The view of the sunset over the marina was beautiful. The Monday prefix dinner was a great value. The prefix dinner included a choice of any appetizer, entre and desert from their regular menu for $36. Our server, Jennie,... More

Absolutely loved the lobster potstickers, spareribs, crabcake appetizers. The lobster bisque was divine with huge chunks of lobster meat. Any of the fish and seafood entrees were really good. Went 2x during 5 day visit.

I came here and ordered the lobster bisque and several sushi dishes. The food was really good! They have both indoor and outdoor seating.

Enjoyed the view of the harbor during lunch. View lovely and very attentive service. Meal was okay - we didn't take advantage of Roy's menu choices selecting more lunch friendly (fast) choices such as Mahi Mahi tacos and fish and chips.

Roy's Waterfront Restaurant was a great place to visit. To get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this restaurant is tucked away on the boardwalk behind the Marriott hotel, by the convention center in San Diego. A beautiful restaurant setting looking out towards the Boats in the San Diego harbor. The restaurant ambience is very private, romantic,... More

The food was great, but the service was a bit weak. Our waiter was new, and very nervous. Interrupted at the wrong time for unnecessary things. I've had better dining experiences at this and other Roy's in the past.

Their food was the best. Especially seafood and the perfect chocolate that we came all the way from eugene for it. I asked for a special caesar salad that wasn' t on the menu and the chef made the best caesar salad. Their French chocolate soufflé was more than perfect, I am not exaggerate if I say we came all... A beautiful restaurant setting on the boardwalk. The restaurant ambience is very inviting. Service was excellent. Food was delicious with good value. The Mahi Mahi was perfectly prepared with a generous portion. The tofu dish was quite good as well and substantial in portion size. Desserts were great (pineapple upside down cake and the molten lava dessert). A bit pricey... More
