It was a scenic walk along the waterfront from our hotel to Roy's in Marriott's. We sat inside but had a beautiful harbor view. Our server was prompt and attentive. My seafood special of 1/2 lobster tail, scallops and prawns were extremely fresh and delicious. The scallops melted in my mouth. My husband said his beef short ribs were very... More

Every city that has a Roy's restaurant we would make every effort to visit. They will never disappoint. Everyone must try their chocolate soufflé. You will be addicted to this place.

You can't beat the setting of Roy's in San Diego! Coming from a landlocked state we just really enjoy the harbor! This is our 3rd visit to this particular Roy's (have been to the one in Guam and Hawaii). It is always good. Definitely pricey, but the setting, service, and food live up to it.

Yum Yum Yum! Everything expertly and perfectly prepared. Ribs to die for, melt in your mouth steak, Maine lobster with mashed potato (sounds weird but it really works). Great service. Perfect spot for that special dinner.

I recently went to dinner with some work friends who are from out of town. They were looking to eat somewhere special and wanted to eat somewhere with a water view. It also helped they were staying at the Marriott. First and foremost, Roy's really has done a great job at creating very high service standards. We were immediately greeted... More

Had lunch outside with a great view. The bar tender was funny and had great suggestions. The ginger drink was great. I love ginger. The cucumber drink also yummy. We had sandwiches. The Teriyaki with pineapple was delicious. The pork was good too. We ordered the molten chocolate cake which was wonderful.

We went as a small group for lunch. It was no trouble getting a table outside beside the marina. The view of the marina combined with perfect temperatures & a sunny day made this a perfect lunch outing. We had several appetizers that we shared - all delicious. For my entrée I opted for something light - the field greens... More

I had the braised short rib and it was perfect - the beef was fork-tender and very moist, paired with an excellent sauce. The edemame that serves as 'bread' had a fabulous sweet-spicy flavor and the dessert was delicious. The server was very friendly and prompt. The portion was perhaps a little big for me, but too good to stop... More

My fiance and I decided to try Roy's on the last night of our trip to San Diego. Roy's, Hawaiin Fusion sounded delicious. Instead of bread they bring out complimentary edamame beans, which I thought to be a nice touch. I ordered the Short Ribs, which were falling off the bone and delicious. The sauce was a little heavy, but... More
