Fabulous meal - got off to a shaky start!

We booked a table at Roy's, arrived and were asked where we would like to sit, we said inside and were then told there were no tables available! Why ask us then? Another young lady took charge of the situation and asked us to view the table outside that they had available and actually it was... read more

We had a group dinner there and the service was excellent. The food was unique and delicious. I went back the next night just to try other choices on the menu! Of course, you can't beat the waterfront view either. A very satisfying experience.

This restaurant has a lot going for it, including good eats, nice view, and good service. I love the Mai Tais and after running a marathon I couldn't think of anything more enjoyable than having a couple while people-watching over the marina. Main courses are also delicious but desserts are the best. The pineapple upside down cake and molten lava... More

Had a drink and shared the lobster potstickers. Very nice with a great view of the waterfront. Very relaxing, very attentive service. Would definitely return.

the trio of fish was my best meal at Roys yet. Love the sunrise over Haleakalea rolls and Hawaiian martini

Yes, the Alaskan black cod will melt in your mouth. Cooked to perfection, Spring rolls where fair, the calamari was better for an appetizer. You can see everyone working in the kitchen, and these folks are very skilled orchestrating perfection.

I have dined at the Roy's in Chicago and Las Vegas with mixed feelings. I decided to give the one in San Diego a try on the advice of a friend. The experience was a disappointment. The staff was very friendly as in all of our previous experiences, but the food just did not hit the mark. The server recommend... More
