Best fish on the Marina!

We have been to Hawaii and found the fish at Roy's was better than what we had in Hawaii! We had the Roy's Trio and poke, both of which were outstanding. The service was great and the drinks were amazing. We would highly recommend for anyone staying nearby!

Roy's does it right. The inside of the space is warm and inviting, high class without being stuffy. The true charm is the outdoor deck overlooking the water. The food is all excellent, the braised short ribs being my personal favorite, served with some outstanding Yukon Gold mashed potatoes. Sushi is all very high quality, and the presentation is great.... More

Expensive for the food amount and quality. Staff could use some help on how/when to clear tables. Went on a recommendation and was disappointed. Great location however things need to change.

Good food, spare ribs and wings were very tasty. View of the harborside was great and margaritas were unforgetable

We had six of us dining, and we all had a fine time. We began with a 'canoe' of mixed appetizers The snapper was excellent. My wife wasn't too keen on her scallops, though. The wine flowed, after-dinner single-malts were sipped, and the check arrived. The alcohol softened the blow which, with tip, came to $750+. If only I had... More

Crispy, with julienned veggies & a fantastic kung pao sauce! Also served with a complimentary bowl of freshly steamed and seasoned edamame! Delicious!

Arrived in San Diego from ny. Long flight. We are staying at the marriott so we went to Roys. Bottom line. Good service too salty and too expensive what what you get.

The fish and dinner was amazing!! I recommend the Butterfish. Absolutely delicious!!!! Good Atmosphere. I had dinner there and they have lit tiki torches (classy). Great location. Right on the water. It is part of a hotel but is in its own section on the water. Fabulous restaurant. Everyone in my family had the butterfish and loved it! I had... More

Roy's has spread to multiple locations in the US. We have visited the Honolulu restaurant and this one maintains the same high standards. There are menu items that are unique to each restaurant. We tried the local version of poke, Hawaiian fast food consisting of raw tuna but with a local twist of wasabi mayo and cracker. Another great special... More

I eat out a lot, travel a lot. This was easily the best meal I have had in years. And I was sitting at the kitchen bar, watching everything being prepared and swear each dish looked more beautful and I am sure was every bit as tasty! Thank you Andrew Mayer for an amazing experience!!!
