Great food and drink but a littler pricey. Wonderful view. Great service. Nice selection of entrees and starters.

We have just had a fantastic meal at Roy's. I cannot fault the service and food and was probably one of the best meals we have ever had. The staff were very knowledgeable about the menu, the flavours were great and portions prefect. The atmosphere and location are great.

Honestly, I did not know that this restaurant was part of the Marriott downtown and when I pulled up I was a bit disappointed. But once seated outside, with a view of the marina and a spectacular sunset, all worries were gone. From starter sushi and rolls to the chef's Scallops dish, to the chocolate cake and bananas all was... More

We were visiting my sister in law and her friend Jan who works at the Marriott referred us to go to Roy's. We have to say that the service was exceptional and the food was tremendous. Andy, general manager gave us the red carpet treatment. Our service was un comparably the best I have seen. Thanks Andy for all your... More

We stayed at the Marriott for 6 nights and decided to have our last meal at "Roy's". We ate on the terrace and had fabulous food and service throughout our meal. Our server informed us of the recommended dishes and I am so glad I took her advice! The fish I had was probably the best I have ever tasted... More

Not necessarily a fan of hotel associated restaurants or chains while traveling, but Roy's was a joy. Had lunch one day - shared a pork sandwich and fish tacos - outstanding. Returned for pre-dinner cocktails - don't miss the Rye me a River - and stayed for dinner. Enjoy the al fresco dining.

My husband and I ate at Roys over Labor Day Weekend. The view is great overlooking San Diego Bay. The food was very disappointing. To start our Pina Coladas had no flavor. On to the Ala Carte menu our Caesar salad used Red Lettuce and the strangest dressing not Caesar dressing. My husband then ordered the Filet that left him... More

Roy's on the waterfront has amazing food and fabulous views. The butterfish will melt in your mouth and they also have great sushi. Get the chocolate soufflé for desert.

Roy's Hawaiian Fusion has a really creative, healthy, and unique menu and you can enjoy your tasty morsels on a beautiful deck. Service attentive, and the waiter was able to help me navigate the menu to find dairy-free, gluten-free options.

We waited over a half hour for two chicken Caesar salads, not horrible since the view is amazing. I should have left them there and walked to another spot. Knife cut romaine and grilled chicken all tossed together. No flavor. We had coffee and dessert somewhere else. I hate it when I am so hungry I eat it anyway.
