We wanted to sit outside to have drinks, appetizers, and a good view of the sunset. In all, it was a good experience although service was a bit uneven and slow at times. Getting to the table was a bit of a challenge. We were a group of three people but they showed us to a table against the wall... More

Awesome restaurant, wear your nicer clothes if you have them. Waitress was awesome and hooked us up with a free dessert. There were 8 of us. Had the Kung Pao calamari appetizer. Very filling so be careful but damn good. Also had the Grilled swordfish and couldn't eat it fast enough. Good wines but be careful if they recommend one,... More

This is not Roy in Honolulu and worse than the dozen or more Roy in different cities. The decor is tired and could benefit for a major sprucing up. The food has similarities with that of others in this upscale chain but it seems that the menu contains many more options. I had same sashimi and then a macadamia crusted... More

Delicious -- discovered in Hawaii and must eat at one whenever I can! The food and the view is off the charts.

i compared it with Las Vegas Roy's, uncomparable , San Diego Roy's team should be educated at Las Vegas for couple of months. Service, ambiance, sound, food everything is poor , thank you Roy's Las Vegas

Stayed at the Marriott Marina in late June so ventured over to Roy's since we had good experiences at other Roy's in recent years. Unfortunately, either this location is not that good or Roy's in general is not great any longer. I am hoping is the former. The restaurant decor is outdated and is in serious need of an overhaul.... We enjoyed most of the food we had a Roy's but our waiter was terrible. Thankfully they have team coverage so even though there were long periods without a drink refill or plate cleared by our server, it did eventually get taken care of. We tried the tuna poke to start--very very good. Scallop entree was delicious. My husband got... More

Sitting outside was nice. The food was just okay and definite overpriced for the quality. Had heard good things but nothing really impressed us. The butter fish came recommended. It was very salty with a strong soy sauce glaze. One member of our party had to send their overlooked fish back. With so many great restaurants in San Diego....wouldn't go... More

After 3 full days of working a convention it was a complete pleasure to have dinner outside on the water in San Diego. My colleagues and I were able to secure a corner table away from everyone and had a wonderful intimate dinner catching up with one another. The food was absolutely delicious. And there were plenty of choices for... More
