Great dinner with eye for detail

Had a great dinner at Roy's. Sashimi was extremely fresh and tasteful: the tuna nearly melted on your tongue. Main course Scallops were good as well, loved the flower on the plate, it's a detail that's makes it special. Good Merlot wine, excellent service.

My husband and I ate here our last evening in San Diego. We had the brisket appetizer, baby greens and the special strawberry salad to start. I had filet with shrimp and ha had the duck both were very good. We had pineapple upside down cake with coconut ice cream for dessert and it was so good I wish I... More

I have eaten in several Roy's. Our group found the quality of food to be inferior at this location. It was very touristy and the service and food quality was mediocre at best. It is in a convenient location and the tables outside have a nice view but I wouldn't recommend eating here especially given what you get for the... More

The same great Roy's menu as other locations across the country. What sets this one apart is it's location, location, location! Definitely get a drink at the patio bar or ask for table on the patios for dinner!

Roy's serves fresh local seafood and has outdoor tables so you can see the marina and watch the sunset over the mast of the sailing fleet. If you like island style seafood its a great place.

Located in the backyard of the Marriott hotel next to the convention center, the restaurant offers very nice Food with Hawaiian flavors (recommendation: mixed starter and mixed fishplate as a main), great wine cellar and good and attentive service. Nice outside bar for a drink afterwards.

The Sushi was some of the best I ever had and the Butter Fish is what keeps me cooing back. There is indoor and out door dinning

The food at Roy's was wonderful, as was the service. We had a young child with us and the staff was very kind to the toddler.
