Great food prepared by people who care. Great people and a fantastic wine bar! Started as dessert bar and has expanded to a really good bistro.

Ate here twice on the recommendation of an friend online. Just delightful. The staff were friendly, very attentive and there was a lovely atmosphere on the patio with live music being played. The food was great particularly the red velvet cake which I highly recommend. Thanks to all for looking after the UK people.

Bistro Sixty was recommended as the caterer for a party of 12 family and friends aboard a private Zolna Charter yacht. I worked with Mark Leisman, one of the owners, to choose the perfect menu for an early evening meal and sunset cruise. In the end, the menu included sun dried tomato phyllo triangles with kalmata olives and feta cheese... More

Chef/Owner Mark runs a fantastic restaurant in an unusual location. There is a great casual friendly feeling in the restaurant. Excellent food, service, and dessert.

I'll preface by saying that Bistro Sixty, formerly San Diego Desserts, is a local small business in my neighborhood, and I have had the pleasure of watching this business grow and change over the past 5 years. That being said, when I first moved to the neighborhood, 5 years ago, I took my mother, who was visiting from the East... More

Friends suggested that we have dinner at Bistro Sixty. What a fantastic suggestion. We had three appetizers. The tuna and the shrimp over caprese were excellent. As strange as this sounds, the brussel sprouts appetizer was even better. I had the scallop risotto for my entree. Delicious!!! We shared four excellent desserts. The carrot cake was my favorite. The wine... More

This was a surprise. Filled with live music, we enjoyed a nice Malbec with one of the daily specials, lamb chops with gnocchi, mushrooms and peas. The service was very attentive. Music a little loud if you wanted to talk but perfect if you wanted to listen. Beautiful desserts that you select by viewing in a dessert cabinet. Friends have... More

San Diego Desserts is also known as Bistro 60. This combination bakery - bar - dining room is located in an ugly strip mall pocked area of San Diego, just west of San Diego State University. We snagged street parking, although customer parking is permitted at a nearby bank. I have driven past Bistro 60 literally hundreds of times, never... More

I go frequently as they offer some outstanding live entertainment in the "Bistro" area. This is the covered patio area directly to the left of the entrance. There is a nice wine selection, as well as craft beers. Additionally the appetizer menu is enticing, because it is generally Happy Hour pricing while the live music is going on. I have... More
