During my last trip I hit the Bali at Happy Hour & was not 'happy'. This time I went during lunch & it was an enjoyabe visit. Dessert & wine on the deck with their gorgeous view!

Nice atmosphere, view and vibe. We got three appetizers and they were all good-spring rolls, coconut shrimp and calamari. Watch out for the Mai Tai-when the waitress tells you they are strong, believe her! All rum, no juice. That could be a slogan! I ordered juice to add to mine, and it was still too strong. Should have gotten my... More

Great location with skyline view. Reservations are helpful. The food is absolutely delicious, try the tuna! And you should at least once try their famous Mai Tai. It's very different because it lacks any fruit juice. For me a bit too strong but a great experience. Prices are higher but totally worth it.

Came here again for Father's Day Brunch, hoping to make it a new tradition in my family after 2013's spectacular brunch experience. I have to say, I was really let down with this year's spread versus last year. The lobster claws from 2013 were replaced by crab...I don't like crab. And the amazing macrons where to be found (we still... More

We were so disappointed in our meal last night. We have been to this restaurant probably 10 times in the last 5 years and every time was wonderful. Last night we had 7 diners in our party and not one person thought their meal was good. I had the Shrimp and Mahi stir fry and it was tasteless. $200.00 later... More

I really like going here for Sunday Brunch. The views are awesome and the food is top notch. That Mai Tai, though!

The restaurant is beautiful and the trip was worth it for the view alone. We were seated at a corner table on the patio with full view of the bay and the San Diego Skyline. Absolutely Stunning views!! The service was impeccable. They stored our luggage for us as we were headed to the Airport after dinner for a late... More

The Bali Hai is an authentic, friendly family-owned restaurant that is single-handedly keeping tiki culture alive in San Diego. The view couldn't be better! All of San Diego harbor laid out before you as you soak in the feeling of Fantasy Island circa 1969. Visitors have the option to dine al fresco, right on the expansive wrap-around porch facing the... After our marriage and my first active duty assignment down range...My wife and I love the ambiance, service and especially the PUPUS! The callendar does not reflect the correct date, we were here in Jul 1997.

I can't say enough about this restaurant. From the moment you enter it smells and look like the South Pacific. It is beautiful, with extensive design elements. Even the restrooms were beautiful! The drinks and food were timely and terrific and the service was outstanding. We will be back whenever we go to San Diego. Bravo!
