Excellent Ambience

If you want to fell a little like you are in Hawaii, this is the place. The outdoor seating was lovely, and the menu was quite satisfying. The drinks are strong.

This is a sentimental favorite of mine...they have changed the menu over the years but not the view or the mai tais. The bar is a fabulous place to enjoy a drink..the mai tais are very strong and you can split it into two drinks to share with a friend; the bar also has the crazy beautiful view and a... More

We had a window fable -- great view of the harbor. Very quick service. Didn't feel rushed. Able to linger over desert and coffee.

A little out of the way if you are staying downtown but if you want an elevated view of the city and the harbour and you want good food and good service then this is the place to come. Make sure you ask for a table with a view of the city and just enjoy. I have been a few... More

Chose this restaurant because it was near property we were staying (Humphrey's) and because we had honeymooned in Hawaii and this was as close as a replica as we could get. The food was phenomenal! Had coconut shrimp for an appetizer which was great. The waiter recommended Brussels sprouts (which I am typically not a fan of) but I must... More

This was a bright spot in our stay. It was a very nice place to celebrate our niece who was graduating. Great service, great food, great atmosphere!! This made our trip special. Even though it wad a busy weekend we had no trouble getting served!!

Loud! Managed to get an outside table. Incredible, distant view of downtown San Diego! Waitress was very nice and professional. Food was good! Not great! Hawaiian drinks were a joke, and very expensive! Should have stayed with our favorites!

Family celebration luncheon at the Bali Hai was fantastic. The setting was beautiful and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We had a wonderful time, and while the food was delicious it was difficult to take our eyes off the magnificant views. This is what San Diego is all about!

Bali Hai is a nice restaurant with a waterfront view of the bay and the city skyline. This is an ideal restaurant for a tourist to visit while in San Diego. Try to get a table by the windows and arrive around sunset as the day starts to cool. There's lots to do in San Diego, so enjoy the day... More

Bali Hai is one of my favorite restaurants. In fact, I'd say it is my favorite restaurant. I go back every week, rain or shine, for the fresh fish, the island cuisine, the personable servers, even the coffee. My family and I feel so at home here that we order our food by just asking for the first or seventh... More
