Best view of Bay and skyline

We went for dinner on a Sunday night, and the wait was 30 minutes . Highly recommend you make reservations. There is NO WAIT to sit in the lounge area by the windows with Bay view. And you may still order off the full menu in the lounge area. The view of Downtown San Diego skyline and the Bay is... read more

Had dinner with friends, everyone enjoyed the food. The Mai Tai was strong but not too strong. The food in general was good but some items could be better like the coconut shrimp did taste of coconut. Service was fine.

The best seafood we had in San Diego. The crab cake wedge was so good and the seafood plate was cooked perfectly. The entire place is this beautiful wooden structure that sets right on the bay. Great view of the bay and real close to the airport. A must for good food and good view while in San Diego.

We had just flown in from Portland Oregon. We were staying up the street and feeling tired and hungry. We walked along the water and this was the first place we ran into. Late afternoon on a beautiful day. We ordered drinks and appetizers and watched all the activity below. Everything was beautifully prepared and presented. Our waiter couldn't have... More

My wife and I were visiting her sister, and she wished to take us to a nice spot for a drink and a bite. She had been to Bali Hai about twenty years ago, and since C-Level (her first choice) was overflowing, we ended up at Bali Hai. We were promptly seated at an outside table with a fabulous view... We were surprised not to find more tiki bars in San Diego, so went out of our way to check Bali Hai out. The location/view are astounding, no surprise that it's also a popular wedding venue. We only had drinks so can't rate the food. The drinks were strong and a bit pricey, but pretty much what we expected. I... More

We last dined at this restaurant during San Diego Restaurant Week in January. We have been to this restaurant several times before. We enjoy the food, which is a combination of Asian/American tastes. The restaurant also has large glass windows with million dollar views of San Diego Bay and the downtown skyline. Locals prefer the daytime view, though either is... More

Thought I had a great plan. Fish all day just off the restrurant then DOCK (yes on canoe) for happy hour with family and friends. Heard about these famous Mai Tai's & ordered 1 eagerly . Waitress did NOT mention warning label on menu associated with this drink. 2 later under 25min and going for 3 and I'm instantly drunk...... More

I absolutely love this Tiki themed restaurant located on Harbor Island. The view is spectacular. I went for lunch and sat by the huge windows watching the boats go by. The service is also great and the food is fantastic'. Highly recommend the miso bass. The drinks are strong. The place is known for it's Mai Tai which has no... More

Had a great meal with friends sitting in the outside area in late february. There were outdoor heaters to keep you warm and this place had a good atmosphere with graet views of the bay. The food was very good and the portions generous but not crazily big.The service was excellent with our server ,Brian, making sure that we were... More
