Stunning View

Family celebration luncheon at the Bali Hai was fantastic. The setting was beautiful and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We had a wonderful time, and while the food was delicious it was difficult to take our eyes off the magnificant views. This is what San Diego is all about!

Bali Hai is a nice restaurant with a waterfront view of the bay and the city skyline. This is an ideal restaurant for a tourist to visit while in San Diego. Try to get a table by the windows and arrive around sunset as the day starts to cool. There's lots to do in San Diego, so enjoy the day... More

Bali Hai is one of my favorite restaurants. In fact, I'd say it is my favorite restaurant. I go back every week, rain or shine, for the fresh fish, the island cuisine, the personable servers, even the coffee. My family and I feel so at home here that we order our food by just asking for the first or seventh... More

Over the years this restaurant has provided many great experiences for me via weddings and other events I have attended here. The views are terrific and offer a panoramic vista of the downtown skyline. The bar area is very open and pleasant yet feels cozy. The staff and bartenders have always been pleasant and prompt. I had dinner there recently... More

We went here for Mother's Day brunch. Called ahead of time and told that we could walk in. Got there at 11 am and put our name in. Had a really strong Mai Tai prior. Everything people say about these drinks is true. Total liquor and no juice. Got seated after an hour as expected and had a nice meal.... More

We went to this restaurant while visiting friends in San Diego. We ordered our drinks and were trying to decide what to eat so we asked for some bread. The Waitress told us we couldn't have the bread until we ordered because some people come in and order drinks and eat the bread and they don't order food. I thought... More

We could walk here so we decided to try the Mai Tai. 100% alcohol --but delicious. The bar food was fabulous and the view was too. The bar staff was very accommodating!

We had brunch at Bali Hai with a group of friends to celebrate our anniversary. They have a wide selection of brunch foods set out in a buffet style. They have everything from waffles, to omelets to stir fry and pho. They also have VERY strong mai tais if that is your thing. Because they knew we were celebrating, they... More

I have eaten here before and was impressed, but the perfect storm of a huge private party reduced staff so service was very slow and several menu choices were poorly prepared. Better luck next time!
