The new Mexican style?

We ended up eating here as a default after waiting over 10 minutes to be served at another Mexican restaurant. First we wanted to eat at another restaurant. But then we came to this place. Fortunately! The food was very good. (And very cheap!) They had the Fajita Wednesday so it was very cheap to eat there. But not only the food was awesome. Our waiter (unfortunately i dont know his name :(. Grant, Greg,...? ) was awesome! We talked... More

We went for the tacos and enjoyed them. I liked the pineapple salsa they used on the carnitas but could of used a little more salt and spice. Prices were awesome.

Not the most exotic Mexican eatery ever but good choices of beer. Meaty or veggie dishes were slightly overcooked and not that tasty or hot. Slightly better than other Mexican places in the Gas Lamp but still not a typical out-of-your-mind joint.

While in San Diego for a girls weekend getaway, the valet at our hotel recommended Las Hadas to us. We were greeted by a young man & young girl at the front door and promptly escorted to a table, which surprised us because it was a Friday night. There were only a handful of empty tables and by the time... More

We found Las Hadas Bar and Grill while exploring the gas light district. Get some chips and queso to start! We had the steak fajitas and chicken fajitas. Cooked to perfection. "Kat" was a great waitress and really gave great service. We will go back!

We started our night here right when we got into town. Be careful though as your night could end here as well. Their happy hour is ridiculously cheap. Between the $1 tequila poppers and $5 really stiff margaritas, you'd have to superhuman to not leave here with a very good buzz. For food we got the chicken quesadillas & cheese... More

This place is overlooked by many, but has the flare of a family owned restaurant and bar in a neighborhood of chain restaurants and hoopla. It is a great place to go for drinks if you actually want to hear what people are talking to you about.

They had some of the best tacos we have had. On Tuesdays they have some 2 dollar tacos and they were really good. I had the fish and a chicken taco, my husband had the steak and a carnitas taco, and they were all great. They also had 2 dollar bud lights and tecate beers. Our server was Samara and... More

This place serves some awesome food. A friend and I were in town for a conference and had dinner here. I ordered a burrito while he ordered the three taco special. His plate was three taco and each was different; chicken, carne asada, and fish. The Surf and Turf Burrito I ordered was totally fantastic. First off it was big... More
