Cute and fun

This is a nice place to go with girlfriends for a little shopping break mid-afternoon. Although it isn't close to any shopping I know of...it's worth going there anyway. If you need to buy some tea or anything to serve it in, check out the wall of specialty teas and they'll be happy to tell you all... read more

we had a lovely 2 hours at the end of a long day, relaxing and enjoying several different teas. The courses were all delicious - we ate everything they gave us. All teas are available for purchase, as is the marvelous rose jam. we each tried 3 different pots of tea. The House Blend is quite nice. The coconut is... More

I just don't understand these reviews. I have taken my wife to just about every tea room in San Diego county and this is the best! The only thing I don't like about this place is the limited parking. The service is delightful, they have an efficient and caring staff, the food is absolutely amazing, it taste as good as... More

i've been going here since they first opened by the original owner...since the change over the menu doesn't change as often, which is a shame. I think the quality has suffered..in food and management. They don't seem to want to make money. I went in today and there was one person dining....ONE person.... but they couldn't serve me high tea... More

First, the tea and food provided was delicious. The previous reviewer makes mention of a toaster oven but very few high teas that I've been to have "hot dishes" so I didn't see an issue. We had the three courses: 1st course: 3 types of sandwiches (cucumber, chicken walnut, and apple/cheddar). The apple cheddar was really interesting. Vegetable strata Potato... More

Sorry but cooking foods in a little toaster oven explains it all. Cheap foods, and poor ambiance

I called to make a reservation and left a message; I called again and *confirmed* a reservation. Then, we showed up and they did not have our reservation. They were really weird about it too, and tried to claim it was our fault, though they had told me clearly on the phone that the reservation was confirmed. They finally sat... More

The tea was wonderful and plentiful. The service was impeccable, helpful, and friendly. The food and the presentation were exquisite and delicious. It was a wonderful, relaxed pace meal in a delightful room filled with beautiful tea service items. Highly recommend this if you have time to spend a couple of hours on a meal. Definitely make your reservation well... More
