nothing special about it

I ate a nothing-to-report breakfast at this place. A nice decor and a lovely service, but the food was just fine. Not disappointing but also nothing to report about. Right, it was a simple bagel, cheese, avocado breakfast, but the bagel was just ok, the cheese was not the best brand, but not the... read more

My husband and I were attending a convention and went outside the hotel for a walk to find a good restaurant for breakfast. A local person saw us pointing to an ad for a local "famous" place (according to their ads). When we stopped at the street corner he told us about Zanzibar and where it was located. I had... More

My mom and I went for lunch and weren't diappointed. Cute place good atmosphere not too much street traffic nice wait staff yummy menu and decent prices. We both got a very nice mushroom and blue cheese burger with a salad.

I went here for lunch and had the blackened fish burger. It was very tasty and had reasonable value. The service was good too.

Got seated for lunch very quickly, by the pleasant wait staff. I had every intention of having lunch, but when I saw they still serve breakfast until 3, I couldn't resist, and mine was well worth it, the breakfast menu is extensive and filling... Try it.

We stopped in here at the start of a long day sightseeing in San Diego and it was great. Really chilled out atmosphere, great service and delicious breakfast. Really nice cafe away from the beaten track. Worth a visit.

Easy to find on the street corner. Had the Eggs Benedict, excellent. Latte was great and staff was extremely friendly. Enjoyed eating outside and has an okay view. Nice atmosphere.

Very nice lunch, large menu of interesting salads, large choice of sweets and desserts at the end which are tasting great but which are a bit rich in calories !

Lots of good options for breakfast but nothing we had was particularly special. Probably wouldn't go back for breakfast. Lunch might be better though

We come to San Diego for 4 days every summer & we're hooked on this place. Great food (Portuguese Prawns to die for). Great: Zanzibar burger, flat bread pizza, steak fries (we left off the truffle oil). Our friends loved their salmon & their pork chops. Last night we indulged in Martini Monday with a Sweet & Salty. Delicious. It's... More
