Description: Taste the World, from our viewGlass Door is a restaurant that offers the casual sophistication that San Diego is known for and features a seafood based menu that draws true influence from every major culinary capital in the world. Our menu takes root in flavors and techniques that can be found in Eastern Europe, Spain, Italy, Asia, France, and the Middle East and gives them all a decisively San Diego interpretation. In addition to our cuisine we also offer craft cocktails made with expert techniques and local microbrews that showcase the flavors San Diego has to offer. To compliment our global flavors we have a panoramic view of the San Diego Marina that gives our concept completion. Come join us at one of our communal tables on our 4th floor perch and taste the world from our view.

This was included in our hotel deal and we expected a small breakfast, but they had good selections and food was excellent. Plus, you have great service and a wonderful view. Did not have time to have dinner there this time, but in the past, great food too.

Lots of choices for breakfast, from mexican omlets, to regular eggs with many choices of bread/toast; waffles; and for the health conscious - Greek yogurt with granola. Every order comes with fresh fruit.

Paul is absolutely the best bartender. Always look forward to seeing him. The sunset view can't be beat. The crowd is friendly. I appreciate friends of Dorothy having a place to go. And if you want to have a bite The Glass Door works well.

Getting pretty good at it from traveling for business. Glassdoor is a great spot for it and Shane, the bartender, did an awesome job. Will be back.

the view is very good and the food is tasty. The servers are extremely polite. For the most part the food came quickly. my only complaint was that at breakfast they placed the cold pat of butter on a hot plate and by the time it arrived at the table the butter was a puddle.

My husband & I went to the glass door restaurant our 1st night of our holiday in San Diego & had the best time. Unsure of the cocktails we asked our server Richard for advice. He was very knowledgeable about the cocktails & asked the type of drinks we liked before making excellent choices for us. With his assistance we... More

I ordered room service and got the wrong meal as explained by staff. This guy called me back and yelled at me and then had the gaul to charge me after NOT exchanging my meal. Small portions, odd combos, inexperienced staff...just horrible. I have never been SOOOO mistreated in my life and customer service not important in this place. SHAME... More

The food was standard breakfast buffet, eggs, meat, muffins, etc. The staff had a look of terror when we walked in 30 minutes before they closed for breakfast and there were only 2 servers who were more concerned about closing than providing service. Maybe if we had gone earlier we would have had a better experience.
